Up for auction is this all encompassing, epic "BEETHOVAN BICENTENNIAL COLLECTION" a superb 10 Volume Deutsche Grammophon set released in 1971 containing 10 individual sets, each containing a full sized paper booklet and 5 LP's for a total of 50 LP's; 100 sides. This is an original first pressing. Your classical music collection in incomplete without this voluminous exploration of Beethoven's music.

The pressing dates on each platter are stamped in the dead wax and span 1965 and 1970. The condition of the LP's is stunning with 99% of the sides appearing to be UNPLAYED. One of the volumes (Volume V) is still sealed. The coup de grace of this collection is the roughly 300 page accompanying full sized book, which is still SEALED! From what I understand, the book is chock full of color plates and is a beautiful companion to the music.

All platters are sleeved in their original Deutsche Grammophon poly-lined sleeves. The sleeves are all in FINE condition.

All platters have maintained their deep, dark like-new luster.
