Description

This is a superb copy of the rare 2nd Bee-Jay LP which has a ton of crude '60s Florida area garage bands in a cool paste-on cover with art of bees playing instruments & info on the back...a bonanza of 24 bands each doing two minute long versions of '60s garage era classics (it's a long playing time LP) with plenty off fuzz & organ, the nuggets sound. Among the tracks are: New Dimension In Sound-"Well Respected Man", Him & The Others-"Feel A Whole Lot Better", The Back Pages-"Gloria", The Mourning After-"The Kids Are Alright", The State Of Mind-"My Back Pages", The Mustard Jar-"Try It", The Kolors-"As Tears Go By", The Warlocs-"It's Alright", and many more bands like Chapter 5, The Barons, The Minutemen, Flower Power, The Orlando Rogues etc. Good sound fidelity, too. VG++/M- with tiny ballpoint name in back corner, a small blank sticker on front corner...very nice copy of this fab '60s garage demo LP sampler. On the private Tener label # TC1014 from mid to late '60s. Much better than some of the later LPs in this demo series that got more top 40 & less garage...
