FIRST SLEEVE, TEXTURED INNERS AND INSERT CREDIT SHEET

 AN ALBUM SO ICONIC, AND SO PLAYED TO DEATH..FINDING A COPY IN DECENT CONDITION IS SO RARE...FINDING A FIRST PRESSING MINT?  THIS IS JUST ONE OF THE FINDS!!

From a Private music business associate, this LP is from a collection of archived 'from new' LPs, all are simply outstanding condition with only one/two plays of the vinyl...OR UNPLAYED!

THE VINYLS   MINT   INCREDIBLE  TIME CAPSULE CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the  UK  FIRST POLYDOR/RSO pressing -Stored from new this LP has seen ONE PLAY, and remains in pristine condition everywhere. The best example we have seen.

The matrix numbers are all the first numbers with the biko etching and placed inside the textured inners.. later presses were far flimsier as they had to meet demand using outside pressing plants..these stamped matrix polydor copies are the earliest.

This first HEAVYWEIGHT pressing is a superb vinyl set which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP set of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

No spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever. SURPLUS WAX AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE

There is barely a hint of any whisp lines and thats it-  nothing else!  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER. WHEN WILL YOU EVER SEE THIS PRESSING CLEARLY 'ARCHIVED MINT'?

This is straight out the box from  1977 incredible condition , we do not auction any sleeves that we deem to have 'wear' so rest assured you are looking at a sleeve of stunning condition..

The finish remains in pristine condition everywhere!

The edges are all super clean with virtually no traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition. This sleeve which is so hard to preserve without wear has clearly been stored away for decades!

No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp. A few tiny light spider lines over the spine and edges & the slightest ring rub arc on the open edge back

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with virtually no hint of feathering

The spine edge is totally unmarked -bar one pin spot of rub.

The gatefold open out is immaculate -creamy white with no rub or discolour.
