Description

IF BIDDING FROM OUTSIDE THE UK THEN PLEASE NOTE THAT I USE EBAY'S GSP FOR POSTING. THESE COSTS CAN BE HIGH. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO PAY THESE PRICES THEN PLEASE DO NOT BID. However I am willing to listen to requests to post outside of Ebay through signed-for and tracked. I would recommend using Ebay though as they cover taxes, customs lost items etc. Europe postings will cost £15 for a single item if I send them.
Unfortunately I need to cash in on some of my record collection to help fund my retirement so..........................
For auction here is a nice copy of 'Odessa' by The Bee Gees and released in the UK in 1969 on the Polydor label 583049/50. This album was issued in a felt sleeve which is prone to wear. This is a very decent copy of this great LP. It has some corner wear with the odd slight edge wear so has escaped damage completely. You can see some slight ringwear as well.
The sleeve is in a nice VG+ condition. There are no stickers, no tears and no writing. See above for more.
The inner sleeves are average, they have some foxing and one has had the polythene inner come unstuck from the paper.
Both the vinyl records are in an Excellent condition conforming to the grading system below.
The labels are Excellent being free of stickers and writing and the spindle holes are fine on both sides. I can see some spindle marks on both sides and some, what looks like, label pressing issues which would have originated at the manufacturers.
Please bid with confidence as I have a 100% positive feedback rating.
I am willing to post multiple items abroad which will be tracked and signed-for. Payments for this method go direct through Paypal as Ebay's GSP does not cater for multiple item sales unfortunately.
I try to adhere as closely as possible to the Record Collector Magazine grading system which is shown below as a guide. I do ad + and - to gradings for intermediate conditions. Any record described as 'Mint' will mean 'Unplayed'.

RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

It appears I missed out the word NOT in the sentence ' It has some corner wear with the odd slight edge wear so has (NOT) escaped damage completely'- Apologies!
