BEE GEES 1st original UK Polydor pop/psych lp MINT-

1967/UK/Polydor 583012…. here’s a gorgeous original UK pressing of their first lp. The laminated cover is in strong Excellent to M-  condition, minor corner dings, and a handful of light short creases, otherwise virtually no wear, no splits, writing or other issues. The vinyl is in strong excellent to M- condition with a handful of stray inaudible sleeve lines. The record plays beautiful and clean. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. Bee Gees' 1st is -- despite the title -- the third studio album by The Bee Gees. It was, however, their first album to be released internationally, as their first two LPs were only avaialble in Australia and New Zealand. Released in July 1967 (see 1967 in music), Bee Gees' 1st was also the group's debut album for the UK Polydor label, and for the US Atco label.

Reflecting the group's early style, Bee Gees' 1st was a psychedelic rock album. The album cover was designed by Klaus Voormann who had previously done the cover for Revolver by the Beatles.

MINT: as stated with no defects

M- OR NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.

AIR POSTAGE TO USA IS $10 ...OR $8 SURFACE IF THE PACKAGE WEIGHS LESS THAN 500 GRAMS(one regular weight pressing).........USA AIR POSTAGE FROM 500 GRAMS TO 1 KILO IS $15 AND SURFACE MAIL IS $12(usually 1-3 lp’s depending on individual weight)

INTERNATIONAL AIR POSTAGE(depending on destination) UNDER 500 grams is $17 to $21(one regular weight lp), OVER 500 grams UP TO 1000g is $30 to $36(usually up to 3 lp’s depending on individual weight), INTERNATIONAL AIR POSTAGE BETWEEN 1000g AND 2000g (usually between 3 and 6 lp’s depending on individual weight) is $49 to $55.
