PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. One of the **best** copies we've seen ~ 44+ years old, a bluesrock, British 60's blues boom legend:
The LOVE SCULPTURE was a bold powerful trio led by young Dave Edmunds who emerged as a guitar hero of extreme prowess. As hyperkinetic blues albums by white English kids go, this is a great one. Dave Edmunds, armed only with a 1959 Gibson 335 and a 100-watt Marshall stack, cranks through both sides of this hardblues rocker with reckless abandon and gobs of technique. Backup support is handled by bassist John Williams and drummer Bob Jones, who do their best to keep up and provide a rhythmic foundation for Edmunds to wail over. Edmunds also handled nearly all the vocals, and what makes this album worthwhile is the revved-up guitar playing, especially when Edmunds shreds both Freddy King's "The Stumble" and Willie Dixon's "Wang Dang Doodle.
The album is an excellent piece of vintage 1968 blues rock with yet another highlight being Canned Heat's "On The Road Again" that shines because of Edmunds' guitar power. The album is incredible considering Edmunds' guitar exhibition within a blues rock structure. "B;ues Helping" did accomplish the group's goal of allowing a second album to be recorded, the absolutely stunning, psychedelic classic "Forms and Feelings" recorded a year later in 1969. Never approaching the fame of other power trios such as Cream and the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Love Sculpture's recordings hold up incredibly well over the 40+ years passed since the releases of their two Lp's.

CONDITION: The Cover: The rounded dome designed cover ...the front is near M- a top copy, even with a delete drill at bottom left, too minor to complain about(!) the back is near M- as well (this is a fantastic sign for a TOP copy when almost ALL back covers of this issue have wear) Top survivor! = the back cover did not wear well...so, all in all, harder to find THIS clean than you think ...final collection copy, remains a really nice 1968 artifact, guaranteed first issue. Your upgrade or first time score.
The Vinyl: all glossy clean and smooth, M- very nice...looks and plays SO clean! also has clean Rare Earth labels ... thee copy to own!
