Description

TITLE/INFO:  OK, I'm nearing the very end of my Beatles 45/PS selloff and although there are a couple more really good items to come yet, it doesn't get much better than this one! This is an original copy of what most people consider to be the rarest Beatles picture sleeve ever released on any label - and oh yeah, a near mint 45 record is included here as well. This ultra rare and highly collectible 45/PS combo by The Beatles is entitled "Please Please Me/From Me To You" from 1964. This highly desired picture sleeve is probably in only "fair" overall condition, but please read on for all the details. The vinyl 45 is in excellent condition and as you can see in the pictures, I've even included a VJ company sleeve with the package as a "throw-in" - please read on and check out all the pictures above. FYI, I have also listed their rarest Capitol Records 45/PS - "Can't Buy Me Love" - so, if you're interested, please check out that one on my site this week as well.  LABEL INFO: This original, "brackets" VeeJay Label (581) is in near perfect shape with no flaws at all. I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very light play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice, and again, there is nothing seriously flawed with it. At the very least, it's in excellent shape - but probably better than that!! PICTURE SLEEVE: OK, this highly sought after, super rare picture sleeve is the lesser conditioned part of this whole package - but it still the rarest piece here, for sure! There are some small "wrinkle and/or crease lines" in a few places especially along the top, open edge side, a small tear in the very top right corner, a 2" seam split in the top corner of both side seams, an original price tag (.88) on one side, some light ring wear on either side, and most of all, several obvious ink spots on one side only. Where I could, I have tried my best to show all of these flaws in the pictures above, so please check them out, make your own decisions, and write me if you need more info! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, even though it's certainly not perfect, this rarest of all Beatles' 45's/PS's is still fairly decent and extremely hard to find - in any shape. As always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and I have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!  If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $18.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $2.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records  that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
