Welcome to another auction of the weird and the wonderful, the classic and the rare. More records to be sold as still out of work!
This auction is for the Beatles 'Let It Be' Box Set issued in 1970 on the Apple label PCS 7096. I'll say it now-it is NOT mint so please don't expect anything like mint. It is an average copy with the LP cover showing a Green apple as opposed to a Red one. I am assured by my friend who bought this from new that this is how it came. The one redeeming part of this package is the fact that the book is totally intact and to all intents and purposes as good as new!
The outer box has seen better days with some scuffing around the edges and a small split in the top right corner. However there are no stickers and no writing and it is still intact as is the tray.
The LP cover has, as explained, a green apple. It is in a VG condition with some spine and edge scuffing.
The inner sleeve has a split on one side. It has UK Patent No 1,072,844 &Foreign Patents Pending written on it.
The labels are VG+, there are no stickers and no writing. There are some spindle marks on both sides.
The vinyl is VG+, there are some light superficial marks.
Dead wax numbers are:-
Side 1 YEX 773-3U
Side 2 YEX 774-2U
All in all a fairly respectable copy that should suffice until a mint copy comes along..
