Description
TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection - Beatles and more - will eventually come up for sale - good records from the '50's, '60's, and much more - all are "oldies" and most all in great shape! Here is one of those rare and highly collectible LP`s by "The Fab Four" themselves, The Beatles (along with fellow English superstar, Frank Ifield). It is all on the original Vee-Jay Label from back in 1964 - and has the man in the Beatle wig on the front cover as well as what appears to me to be the dark blue/purple background color - plus all writing on the label is above the hole as was once a necessary sign of original VJ pressings. Of course, Vee-Jay Records was one of the very first labels that tried to jump on the Beatles' success as they hit the "big time" here in the US back in 1964. And, it is yet another album in outstanding, close to perfect condition - both the vinyl and the jacket. This LP - one of just a few albums Vee-Jay released - is entitled "Jolly What! The Beatles and Frank Ifield On Stage", and features four (4) songs by the Beatles and eight (8) other songs by Frank Ifield, including his biggest hit single, "I Remember You". All of the titles are visible in the pictures above - and all songs are in MONO, not to mention they are also in outstanding shape (again, please see the pictures above for all song titles). LABEL INFO: This original, Vee-Jay Label (1085) is nearly perfect with no real issues at all - I don't even see many spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also extremely shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in any real need of a mention. In my opinion, the vinyl looks almost as good as the day it was 1st purchased, and again, was likely played very sparingly. JACKET INFO: Finally, the jacket is also primarily very good and almost flawless - with it's only possible flaws being some very small scuff marks along both the top and bottom seam areas, but nothing too serious, believe me. Otherwise, I see no flaws on this jacket at all. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this hard to find, collectible LP is in excellent condition - so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I take a great deal of pride in packaging all my mailings both safely and securely. However, I cannot be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. But, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
