Title:   “The BEATLES versus The FOUR SEASONS”

Label:   VEE JAY.  Catalog number as shown on jacket is DX 30.  Original mono pressings on medium weight vinyl. 

“Introducing the Beatles” (VJLP 1062) has white brackets label with silver text, does not have deep groove in label.  “Audio Matrix” is stamped in the deadwax (weak impression but clearly visible) on both sides.

“Golden Hits of the Four Seasons” (VJLP 1065) has white brackets label with silver text, with deep groove in label.  “Audio Matrix” is faintly stamped in the deadwax on both sides.

Condition: 

DISC:  Both discs are gorgeous NM+, our highest grade.  Simply gorgeous with 100% of original brilliant gloss.  The playing surfaces and labels are absolutely immaculate, with a high luster, causing one to wonder if they have ever been on a turntable.  Beautiful examples of discs that rarely show up in this condition – for most collectors these will be significant upgrades.  Labels are clean and pristine with no spindle trail marks.    

JACKET:   Gatefold jacket is nice VG+ with a bit of light shelf wear, mostly confined to the corners and edges.  A couple very small moisture marks at bottom right  and bottom center.  Inner panels are clean and bright.  Top seam has a minor split, approximately 2” at top right corner.  No writing or stickers.  Reverse is clean except for a cut mark that runs horizontally approximately 7 inches in length.  Not perfect, but quite presentable.
