This auction is for the following RARE LP:
MEET THE BEATLES (3rd Label variation - West Coast)

This auction is for the 3rd label variations with all songs except side one, track 1 & 2 & side two, track 5 credited to ASCAP, other three to BMI. This is the harder to find version, the stereo format version ST 2047 which is infinitely harder to locate than the more common mono version. It's estimated that only TEN percent of Capitol's Beatles albums manufactured prior to 1967 were Stereo. Sophisticated Dealers and Collectors are beginning to realize that Stereo pressings with the FIRST THREE LABEL VARIATIONS
are much less common than the much preferred and touted Mono copies.
Even more rare, it is in wonderful condition & It still has the original plastic covering from the factory, the only wear is on the opening edge where the plastic is not covering a tiny bit of the edging! You can see from the pictures the labels are great, the vinyl is clean & very shiny only a few light wisps one side two keep it from being mint, but I am told it certainly meets the criteria for NM++ !!!
I really hate to see this go, but I have to & still have my own personal copy I purchased myself which holds a greater sentimental value but if the money was not needed I certainly would never let this one go!!!
I am trying to grade these records accurately, to which end I have even taken this box set along with several others to a couple local expert collectors for their opinions, just to be safe. With that said, I will stand behind this claim & refund your purchase price (less shipping costs) upon return of the record if you feel my description was inaccurate or incomplete in some way causing you to be unhappy with your purchase!

I also have to thank the ebayers that pointed out the error in this auction item - wrong items with wrong pictures. It has been straightened out now. The other label variation I have decided to keep, but I thank you all for the feedback.
