On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Yellow Submarine' and is a 1969 UK 1st MONO pressing!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND - ESPECIALLY IN MONO!!!! THIS IS THE 1969 UK 1ST MONO PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DARK APPLE LABEL, 1ST PRESS BLACK INNER SLEEVE, 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS VERY HARD TO FIND (ESPECIALLY IN MONO) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 715-1 & XEX 716-1. The Cat. No is PMC 7070 on the ORIGINAL 'DARK' Green Apple label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT visual condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a few light hairlines, 1 small mark (on the orchestral side), and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops (apart from a few pops from the small mark), NO jumps, and NO sticks!!!! HOWEVER - whilst the Beatles side of this LP (Side 1) plays BRILLIANTLY with only some VERY low level background noise on the run on grooves & gaps (NOT in the music), and barely ANY crackle - the George Martin Orchestral side doesnt play quite as well - with some noticeable surface noise in the 1st track on that side (Pepperland) and some intermittent crackle in places. The record must grade visually Very Good(maybe +) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) - with the playing grade Very Good+ for Side 1 (The Beatles side), but only Good+ for Side 2 (The George Martin Orchestral side)!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL Black inner sleeve which is in GREAT condition!!!! The 1st Press Flipback Laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, only a few light creases (cover is still flat looking), shiny laminate and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in GREAT condition with NO writing, only some VERY minimal general grubbyness, only VERY slight yellowing and some VERY slight rubbing to the edges of the flipbacks!!!! The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN MEGA RARE MONO - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
