ORIGINAL AND RARE 1971 UK APPLE RELEASE.
Released october 1971 "Fly" was the second apple album by Yoko Ono, and her first double album release. It was issued as a complete avant-garde/fluxus package in a gatefold sleeve that came with a full-size poster .
Several singles came from the album..... "Midsummer New York" , "Mrs. Lennon", "Mind Train" "Hirake" aka "Open Your Box" and "Don't Worry, Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking For Her Hand in the Snow)", dedicated to Ono's daughter Kyoko Cox.
Other well known artisits joined Yoko on this album, including John Lennon, Klaus Voorman, Ringo Starr and Eric Clapton.
The album failed to chart in the uk and received very little recognition and has now become one of the rarest and hardest of all the uk Apple album releases.
Offered for sale in nice condition and complete with its original lyric inners, poster but sadly missing the rare postcard.
Vinyl both LPS are VG+/EX in excellent shape with nice gloss and no visible marks
Jacket is in nice shape with only some very minor creases, no rips or tears etc, some wear where the records are inserted.
