BEATLES YESTERDAY AND TODAY BUTCHER COVER COVERED T 2553
Up for your consideration is The Beatles Yesterday and Today Butcher Cover Covered LP Album number T 2553 on the Capitol label. This album has the “acceptable” cover pasted over the Butcher Cover. I was in the process of rounding up my Beatles albums and noticed that this albums top right corner of the cover sheet was separating. It reveled the beginning of the Butcher cover. I have tried to take a clear picture without separating it any more. I also notice that you can vaguely see Ringo’s dark color turtle neck through the cover (please see picture). I do not want to remove the cover since I have no idea how to. The album cover is in decent condition with nice color graphics of John, Paul, George and Ringo. It has some minimal shelf wear marks and the left bottom side corner has approximately a two inch split which is not all that noticeable. The record side one is in nice condition with minimal light scratches that can be seen under bright light and still has nice gloss and also has a sticker from the previous owner which probably can be removed. The record side two is in fair to decent condition has a nice gloss and does have a few scuff marks. Over all the record is not that bad for being over 40 years old. The record inner sleeve is in decent condition. I have tried to take pictures to aid you with your decision and satisfaction. I also do not profess to be the greatest record grader nor the most knowledgeable but I have given you an honest description to the best of my ability. This album is for the vintage Beatle or album collector and would make a nice addition to your collection or to actually play. Re-live your childhood memories.
