THE BEATLES ''YELLOW SUBMARINE'' (Nothing Is Real)

1st UK PRESSING CAT NO PCS 7070 (STEREO) MEGA,  ABSOLUTELY STUNNING NEAR MINT AUDIO COPY! VIRTUALLY UNPLAYED CONDITION! (ONLY PLAYED A HANDFUL OF TIMES EVER) !  (NO LOUD) CLICKS OR POPS   THE BEST THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD OF THIS PRESSING! ORIGINAL (LAMINATED FRONT) GARROD & LOFTHOUSE 1st ISSUE (RED LINES) COVER!

Another from my personal collection of Beatles records that I have accumulated over a period of more than 45 years! This is the original 1st UK pressing in STEREO recording released in 1969 becoming more and more scarce to find , Look this features the earliest -1 -1 Matrix endings and the Earliest ''1'' to ''1'' Mother Stampers (Earliest for the best audio in my opinion) sought after and highly collectable especially in this superb condition! Many copies are found with the usual nasty surface noise and have been played to death or played with inferior systems,,, I should know , I have found and purchased many copies over the years, only to be disappointed by this! This is from my personal collection of Beatles records that I have been collecting over a period of more than 45 years! I have owned this copy for at least 35 years and this has been stored in a case with the vinyl separated from the original sleeve and cover for all of that time! This is how I have always stored my records! Remember this is over 43 years old and in this barely ever played condition, becoming very rare and sought after!

For those who know the type of records that I list would know that my hobby and main interest is the audio quality! This album listed is probably, in fact is,,, one of the best that i have heard of this pressing! The true test of this album is the second side!, which has very quiet slow classical tracks, which an only possibly be enjoyed free of surface noise in my opinion! Also an important issue is the mother stampers!, from my experiance the earliest stampers make all the difference! Look this features the earliest ''1'' to ''1'' mother stampers and the earliest -1, -1 Matrix endings!

Yellow Submarine is the tenth official album released by The Beatles. It was the soundtrack to the animated film of the same name!.

In contrast to how the film was received, Yellow Submarine is usually considered The Beatles' weakest album, as it featured only six songs by the band. The Beatles did not consider it a studio album, since the four previously-unreleased tracks on it were recorded at various times in 1967 and early 1968!

Only a Northern Song" was originally recorded during the sessions for the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album, although it did not appear there. Most of the song was recorded in February 1967. "It's All Too Much" was recorded just before the release of Sgt. Pepper, although it was shortened (from eight minutes) for Yellow Submarine. "Hey Bulldog" (recorded in February 1968) and "All Together Now" (recorded in May 1967) were always intended for the film soundtrack.

"Baby You're a Rich Man" was also originally intended for the film soundtrack, but was released as the B-side to "All You Need is Love" instead and was not included in the Yellow Submarine album!

Two of the songs on the album had previously been released. "Yellow Submarine" had already appeared on Revolver in August 1966 and as a hit single at about the same time. "All You Need Is Love" had been a hit single in 1967 and had also appeared in the United States edition of Magical Mystery Tour later that year!!!.

The second side features arrangements (recorded specifically for the album) of George Martin's orchestral score!

side 1. ''1'' ''H'' (Look! Earliest ''1'' to ''1'' Mother Stampers)

side 2.. ''1'' ''R''

The Labels

ON THE APPLE LABELS''Mfd in the UK'' featured (only UK press) ''Sold In The UK......'' text is featured across the labels only earliest press. very (very) limited spidering can be seen angled to the light only seen on side 2. in fact i can only see two or three on this side only (this has only ever been played four times ever) Little if  (no) spindleware the hole is perfectly round! You can still see the plastic in the spindle hole Unbeleivable to find!

The Vinyl

The vinyl lays perfetly flat on the turntable! On initial inspection this looks absolutely stunning! Still retains its natural glossy mirror sheen from new! If looked at angled to the light , perhapes very light/fine surface scuffs may possibly be seen or sleeve removal marks only!. These have little if no effect on the audio. Importantly there were no loud clicks or pops!,

The Audio quality!

THIS IS STUNNING! I have played this track for track on a top! system at very loud volume prior to listing! The audio is graded at the very top! on all frequencies! I haven't heard better! (no) clicks or pops certainly (no) skips or jumps! THE AUDIO IS CRISTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT ON ALL FREQUENCIES! Most importantly (no) nasty surface or background noise can be heard during the audio!,, so common on this pressing! and quite unbeleivable for this early 43 year old Beatles album! Any interference would be minor isolated static type tick perhapes heard in quieter place only! In my opinion this played almost as good as it gets!  I would class myself as highly critical! Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right! I would grade the audio at least excellent plus to very near perfect as it could be on my systems near mint!

Please note, I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd static tick\ticks only really herard during some quiet places! mainly caused by dirt or dust build up over the years of laying dormant! A constant clean is recomended before each play! ,, this would drastically reduce this and would greatly improve the audio quality! I must emphise! THE AUDIO PLAYS THROUGH  CRISTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT WITH ABSOLUTELY (NO) SIGNS OF DISTORTION OR THAT THIS HAS BEEN OVERPLAYED AT ALL !TOP COPY!!

The record sleeve

This is the original very thin black die cut Apple sleeve! Becoming fragile with age and has creases but amaizingly no edge splits but very fragile. This is the original and is now always stored seperately from the vinyl.

The Cover

This is the original LAMINATED FRONT (GARROD & LOFTHOUSE) printed cover! The original for this issue with (no) barcode that is featured on later press and   two Red lines are featured at the rear (only 1st Issues)  in superbe shape super rich in colour and super glossy laminate! Amaizingly there is no real creases worth to mention. Very few small laminate crinkles only are worth to mention on the front, only noticed if looked for in my opinion! Please note. There is a small laminate scuff mark on the front, middle near the bottom edge  but nothing too bad in my opinion. (see photos)  Amaizingly (no) real nasty storageware to mention any there are you would have to look hard to notice, just very light corner bumping (see photos) The rear is exceptionaly clean without the normally found grubby marks any storageware is very very minor indeed!  THIS IS STRONG AND STRAIGHT a superbe example ORIGINAL early seventies cover! This must be at least excellent if not better in my opinion!! very rare to find in this condition more than 43 years old!
