 Limited Edition White Vinyl Pressing with original poster and four glossy photos
An EMI Recording ~ Manufactured in the UK ~ Stereo

VINYL: Near Mint Minus (NM-): Very few signs of play or wear. Hard to judge white vinyl, but these two records appear to be almost like new, very seldom spun & well-stored.
  
COVER : Excellent (EX): Gatefold, glossy, embossed cover. Slightly yellowed. Minor ring wear. A few slight creases. All seams & spines intact & sharp. Minor wear on opening edge of the front cover. Slight corner wear. Inner cover is like new. No major flaws.

INNER SLEEVE: white paper, die cut (replaced with audiophile sleeves).

INSERTS: One large poster: 22" x 34" (approx.) still folded, never on a wall.
 Flat textured on both sides (U.S. version has one glossy side.)

Four Near Mint, glossy, individual color photos of the band: 8" x 12" (approx.)
(1 1/4" longer & slightly wider than the U.S. photos)

LABELS : Green UK Apple. Very sharp w/ a few very faint spindle marks.

BEAR SAYS : Up for bid is an original British Apple white vinyl issue of the legendary self-titled double LP often referred to as "The White Album" .  This version includes an embossed, semi-glossy gatefold cover plus a cool two-sided poster (lyrics on one side, photos on the other) and four classic color photos of the lads. This limited edition, beautiful, ornate package is in exceptional condition & would be a perfect gift for a true Fab Four fan. Colored vinyl pressings of The Beatles are becoming quite scarce in 2008. Don't miss out on this opportunity !!

A SIMPLE VINYL GRADING SYSTEM :

Mint: Still Sealed/Unplayed/Unopened
Mint minus (M-): New and Possibly Unplayed ; a rarely used grade.
Near Mint (NM): Like-new, with little or no visible wear; very collectible.
Near Mint minus (NM-): almost like-new, perhaps very slight signs of age, play or wear that are strictly cosmetic.
Excellent (EX) Very Good double-plus (VG++): Way above average, very nice, no serious flaws; played, not abused.
Very Good plus (VG+): An above average used LP; a few visible surface marks or paper scuffs; slight surface noise.
Very Good (VG) : An average used LP, far from perfect; a few light scratches. Some noise; plays through, no skips.
Very Good minus (VG-) : Reveals lots of wear when viewed or spun but is not actually defective or warped.




LP Cover grading is a much less exact, more subjective science. Generally, the truly collectible grades range from Mint to Excellent (VG++) depending on general wear. Main cover flaws such as split seams or spine splits, ring wear, cut or bent corners, hole punches, writing, water damage etc. should always be mentioned in a proper auction listing. All records are professionally sight-graded, sometimes play-graded. Keep in mind, used LPs are very rarely found in actual "Mint" condition. Proper record grading involves skill, knowledge & honesty, not wishful thinking.
