Description
Up for auction is a copy of The Beatles White Album, released in 1968 on Apple. However, this copy is an export pressing on Parlophone, cat no P-PCS 7067 – 7068, manufactured in the UK for overseas markets where the Apple logo had yet to be copyrighted (this album was primarily exported to Portugal). Incredibly rare.
Condition: all four sides have numerous marks, particularly side two. Surprisingly everything seems to play through without jumps or sticks, and the album generally sounds OK, though inevitably there are some clicks & pops. The Parlophone labels are OK too, apart from a little "mottling" & a defect to the side 3's label; this would seem to be something attached to the label which may well be removable, but I make no guarantee of this! Toploading cover is in decent condition; there’s a little minor wear but no serious defects. Original black inners present, though rather tatty, but no poster or portraits (both relatively easy to replace). G/G/VG+ (record1/2/cover)
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
