Description
On offer here is a VERY rare double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'The Beatles (more commonly known as 'The White Album')' and is an ORIGINAL UK Parlophone EXPORT pressing on the ULTRA RARE Parlophone labels!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES DOUBLE LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS QUITE SIMPLY ONE OF THE RAREST BEATLES LPS EVER (AS A UK EXPORT!) AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! I WILL EXPLAIN THIS LP IN GREAT DETAIL AND SHOW EXACTLY WHY THIS LP IS SO SERIOUSLY RARE!!!! THIS LP WAS FIRST EXPORTED ON THE STANDARD YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL IN 1968. HOWEVER BY 1969 A SECOND EXPORT PRESSING WAS NEEDED!!!! APPLE STILL DID NOT HAVE THE LICENSE THE SELL THEIR RECORDS IN CERTAIN MINOR COUNTRIES - AND SO THIS WHITE ALBUM WAS PRESSED ON PARLOPHONE INSTEAD (ON THE 1969 BLACK/SILVER 'ONE BOX' EMI LABEL)!!!! THE AMOUNT THAT WAS NEEDED TO BE EXPORTED (PROBABLY NO MORE THAN 300 OR 400) WAS ESTIMATED - AND THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF UK COVERS, POSTERS AND COLOUR PRINTS WAS EXPORTED OUT. HOWEVER BY NOW EMI HAD FOUND A MUCH EASIER WAY TO EXPORT THIS WHITE ALBUM!!!! WHILST THESE TINY COUNTRIES COULD NOT PRODUCE THEIR OWN COVERS, POSTERS, AND COLOUR PRINTS, THEY COULD PRODUCE SMALL AMOUNTS OF EXPORT RECORDS!!!! AND SO THIS MADE IT FAR EASIER FOR EMI TO EXPORT THIS DOUBLE LP (AND AVOIDED THE COVER DAMAGE OF LPs SENT WITH RECORDS INSIDE THEM!). AND SO EMI EXPORTED ONE SET OF MOTHER METAL PLATES TO PRESS THESE ULTRA RARE RECORDS IN THE COUNTRY OF EXPORT (WITH UK 1ST PRESS MATRIXES), AND EXPORTED UK 1ST PRESS COVERS, POSTERS & COLOUR PRINTS ASWELL!!!! AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS AMAZING DOUBLE LP IS!!!! THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE 1969 UK EXPORT 2ND PRESS - WITH A 1ST PRESS UK 'NUMBERED' GATEFOLD FLIPBACK COVER, 1ST PRESS UK 'FULL SIZE' POSTER, 1ST PRESS 4 COLOUR PRINTS, ORIGINAL BLACK INNER SLEEVES, AND ORIGINAL EXPORT RECORDS (WITH 1ST PRESS UK MATRIXES)!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - AND IT WILL SURELY BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME (IF EVER) BEFORE YOU SEE ANOTHER ONE!!!!
This is the ORIGINAL UK EXPORT 2nd pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK EXPORT 2nd Pressing on the ULTRA RARE Export 'One Box EMI' Parlophone Labels, ORIGINAL Black inner sleeves, 'The Gramophone Company' Text on BOTH labels, 1st Press UK 'Full Size' Poster, 1st Press UK 4 Colour Prints, and a 1st Press UK TOP opening 'Numbered' (0442675) FULLY Laminated Flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Cover!!!! The UK matrix numbers are YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1 & YEX 712-1 (the 1st Press UK matrixes)!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS COVER HAS AN AMAZING MISPRINT WHICH I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!!! If you look at my picture of the number on the cover front you can clearly see that half the numbers havent 'come out properly'!!!! And this ISNT just an 'ink' misprint, or ink being rubbed away - it is VERY obvious that half the number (towards the left) is barely indented AT ALL showing the number was badly pressed at an angle!!!! It was VERY tough to picture (I did my best!) though ALL the number AND the prefix 'No' is FULLY visible under light - and this is UNQUESTIONABLY a UK 1st Press cover with an AMAZING 'number' misprint!!!! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER SEEN THIS ON A WHITE ALBUM EVER!!!! As a result the Numbered Cover (Number 0442675) has to be regarded as completely UNIQUE like this!!!! The number also fits in 100% CORRECTLY to this ULTRA RARE 1969 EXPORT issue - being a VERY high 1st Press number, which would correspond EXACTLY to this date!!!! The Cat. No is PCS 7067/68 on the ORIGINAL EXPORT Parlophone labels (see picture) and is a STEREO pressing (There were NO Monos Exports!)!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with only some VERY minor wear around the centre holes, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and 3 of the sides have NO scratches, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, only 3 or 4 light cufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! These 3 sides must visually grade Very Good+!!!! Side 4 is much the same and still VERY bright and shiny - but it does have 1 'semi-circular' scuffline, which whilst it is COMPLETELY non sounding, it is visible - and so this side must grade Good++++ if not better!!!! BOTH RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the records is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! They play with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps!!!! The records must overall grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not Very Good!!!! Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! BOTH records also come in their ORIGINAL Black inner sleeves which are in BRILLIANT condition with NO splits!!!! The UK 'Full Size' Poster and the UK 4 Colour Inserts are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) - with the 4 Colour Inserts being in STUNNING condition, and the Poster being VERY nice indeed with only some VERY minor wear!!!! The 1st Press Gatefold 'TOP OPENING' Laminated Flipback MISPRINTED 'Numbered' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (still a VERY nice shape to ALL corners), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, only 2 or 3 ULTRA faint indentations (NOT through the laminate and ULTRA faint!), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the inside of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, STUNNING flipbacks, STUNNING shiny laminate, NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, and barely ANY yellowing AT ALL!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better and is VERY hard to find in this condition!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
