On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'The Beatles (more commonly known as 'The White Album') and is a UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press DARK Apple label!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL POSTER, RECORDS, 4 COLOUR PRINTS, ORIGINAL BLACK INNERS AND WHITE GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  IT IS ALSO IN SUPERB CONDITION AND HAS ONE OF THE BEST CONDITIONED COVERS I HAVE EVER SEEN FOR THIS LP!!!!  IT IS SIMPLY AWESOME - AND FOR ONCE IS ACTUALLY PURE WHITE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT - BUT THIS LP ALSO 100% PROVES WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THAT 'AN EMI RECORDING' ON THE LABELS HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH AGE OR THE PRESSING ORDER AND IN FACT BOTH TYPES OF LABELS WERE CLEARLY IN PRINT AT EXACTLY THE SAME TIME!!!!  FOR YEARS RUMOURS HAVE CIRCULATED THAT 'AN EMI RECORDING' ON THE LABELS CAME AFTER THOSE WITHOUT THIS TEXT. BUT THIS LP CONCLUSIVELY PROVES THAT THIS NOT THE CASE AND THAT 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WITH 'AN EMI RECORDING' TEXT WERE PRESSED AT EXACTLY THE SAME TIME AS THOSE WITHOUT!!!!  FIRSTLY THIS LP HAS 1/1/1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS (AND THIS IS SERIOUSLY RARE ON A STEREO) - SHOWING IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER!!!!  AND I HAVE SEEN MANY MANY 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WITHOUT EMI TEXT - BUT HAVING LATER MATRIXES (SHOWING THIS LP WAS PRESSED WELL BEFORE THOSE AND IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS)!!!!  SECONDLY THIS LP HAS VERY VERY LOW MOTHER AND STAMPER CODES - BEING 4/MO, 4/MG, 1/GGD, & 1/PH!!!!  AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WITHOUT EMI RECORDING TEXT WITH FAR HIGHER MOTHERS & STAMPERS (AND INDEED MATRIXES - AS MENTIONED ABOVE)!!!!  SO WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THIS PROVES THAT THIS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN EVERY RESPECT!!!!  IT ALSO CONCLUSIVELY PROVES THAT 'AN EMI RECORDING' TEXT HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH AGE OR PRESSING ORDER AND BOTH LABEL TYPES WERE INDEED PRESSED SIMULTANEOUSLY!!!! BUT THE REAL RARITY ABOUT THIS LP IS THE AMAZING COVER!!!!  JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  IT IS SIMPLY AWESOME!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1968 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press DARK Green Apple Labels, 'Sold in the UK' text, 1st Press Black Apple inners, 1st Press Poster, 1st Press 4 Colour Prints, and a 1st Press TOP opening numbered (0423406) FULLY Laminated Flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover.  The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1 & YEX 712-1 - and it is SERIOUSLY RARE to find a Stereo 1st Pressing of this double LP with these matrixes!!!! The Cat. No is PCS 7067/68 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press DARK Apple labels (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing!!!!  All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVENT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING condition overall!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and I will grade each side in turn visually and give a play grade and overall grading at the end.  Side 1 has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!!  Side 1 must visually grade MINT(Minus)!!!!  Side 2 has NO scratches, NO hairlines, a few light scufflines/surface marks (NON sounding) and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Side 2 must visually grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  Side 3 has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! Side 3 must visually grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!!  Side 4 has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 1 VERY light scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! Side 4 must visually grade FULL Excellent if not Excellent+!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  ALL SIDES RETAIN EVERY BIT OF THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the records is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! They play with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on a couple of the run on grooves!!!!  There is NO groovewear & NO distortion either and the sound quality is simply SUPERB!!!!  The records must overall grade FULL Excellent if not better - and are EXTREMELY hard to find in this condition!!!! Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! BOTH records also come in their ORIGINAL Black inners which are in STUNNING unsplit condition with NO rips, NO tears and NO feathering!!!! IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND INNERS LIKE THESE!!!!  Needless to say - I have already transfered the records OUT of the black inners and into some poly lined inners for the records and Black inners protection.  The poster and the 4 colour inserts are also in AWESOME condition (see pictures) and in my opinion they have NEVER left the cover!!!!

The Stereo Gatefold 'TOP OPENING' Laminated Flipback NUMBERED Cover is in AWESOME condition!!!! It has NO edge wear (STUNNING flat straight edges), NO spinal wear (PERFECT laminated spine), NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, only VERY slight corner wear (PERFECT square shape to ALL corners), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in AWESOME condition with NO writing, AWESOME flipbacks, PERFECT unglazed laminate, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The number on the cover front looks like it was pressed yesterday and the raised writing of 'The Beatles' is PERFECT and DIRT FREE!!!!  Not only that but this White Album is PERFECTLY White looking indeed with amazingly NO yellowing AT ALL!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent++++ if not better and is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find in this AMAZING condition!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION - SO MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
