This is an overall VG+ condition early press copy of the original 1968 U.S. Apple Records self-titled Beatles 'White Album', WITH THE ORIGINAL FACTORY SONG STICKER AFFIXED TO THE TOP OF THE FRONT COVER. It is U.S. Apple Records catalog number SWBO-101, with 'The Beatles' embossed on the glossy front cover and with stamped serial number A2831078. The shaded areas appearing around the song sticker and down the sides of the front cover in my accompanying image were put there by my scanner, they do not actually appear on the front cover, which is a uniform shade of white. Records come packaged with all original inserts - The poster and the four individual Beatles color pictures are included. The track listing can be seen on the song sticker, which is shown in my accompanying image. Condition of both records is conservatively a mid to high VG+ with each record having a small amount of light visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Labels have no tears, stickers, writing, or any other flaws. Condition of cover is a low VG+ with a couple of small staple holes through both gatefolds near the upper left corner, probably where the original price tag was attached by the store which originally sold this LP. There is also a small 1" split about 3" in from the right side of the top edge of the front gatefold, some ring and contact wear, mainly on the back cover, a few very small wrinkles, and some wear along the edges and on the corners, cover has no other splits, tears, stickers, or writing. Condition of poster and Beatle picture inserts is also VG+ with some slight wrinkles in the poster and some slight signs of use. A survey of the U.S. copies of the 'White Album' listed on eBay and in completed auctions at the time I am preparing this listing did not turn up any other copies with this song sticker - This would apparently be a RARE ADDITION to any Beatles record collection!
