This is a lovely copy of the classic Beatles' 'White Album' on the original UK Apple label. This is a stereo TOP-OPENER numbered 0366628 on the front cover. This is a nice copy so I will try to cover all aspects in detail.

Both LPs have EX to EX+ VINYL. There are a few very light whispey lines on the playing surfaces - this LP has been played very carefully during its lifetime and so it remains in great condition. I have played it through and I could not detect any deterioration at all in the quality of the sound reproduction. No crackle, No Hiss, No extraneous noise whatsoever and no inter-track static. Obviously it goes without saying there are No skips, No Jumps, No Sticks or gross damage at all. The vinyl is still great despite light marks only visible under bright light.

The LABELS are beautiful - no marks at all and no writing or tears. Graded EX+ to EX++.

The matrix numbers are XEX 709-1, XEX 710-2, XEX 711-2 and XEX 712-1. The stamepers are G,A1L; 1,GOA ; 2,GML ; 2,HDG.

The die-cut BLACK INNER sleeves are present with no tears or major creases. One has a seam split caused by the LP in storeage - graded VG+ at least.

The gatefold, top-opening COVER is EX+ and in lovely condition with NO major issues at all. It is FLAT, UNCREASED, NO EDGE WEAR OR CORNER WEAR, SHARP TOTALLY READABLE SPINE, NO LAMINATE LIFTING AND SHARP OPENING EDGES. The colour is white with only very light fading and a slight circular impression of the LPs caused in storage. The spine has both stereo and mono numbers printed on it. The rear cover has 'STEREO' printed in small letter in the top right corner. It is difficult to grade this cover less than EX+.

The four photographs are EX++ with no wear or damage or signs of handling at at all.

The foldout poster is EX with no pin-holes, tears or creases other than the original folds. There are a few small 'fox' marks on one edge but over all the poster is EX.

SO THIS IS A GREAT COPY OF THIS LP.

This would be called 'MINT' by most sellers but I have come to believe that EX++, indicating an extremely clean record with no or only extremely minimal and totally inconsequential marks, is the highest grade that can be fairly applied to any record. Please read the description of the item in the listing carefully and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.

GRADING SYSTEM

EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is minimal lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.

VERY GOOD: The record has been played and has some visible marks or scuffs but little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents show some wear.

GOOD:The record has been played and alot and sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are damaged.

I use EX++,EX+,EX,EX-,VG++,VG+,VG,VG- as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG- in condition.
