Description
On offer, a an extremely rare Parlophone pressing of the Beatles White Album. The cat. no. of this double album set is PCS 7067 & PCS 7068.
The cover, a mono G & L Top opening cover, is in VG Minus condition, there much handling wear on the opening edges and the spine has also a lot of wear. There a couple folds, mainly in the corners and there is slight ringwear on both the front and back of the cover. Unfortunaly the black inner sleeves, poster and the photos are missing and, but further there is no writing or other damage.
The records are in VG Minus condition as well. There are lots of hairlines and there are some audible scratches. The labels are, just like the record and cover, in VG Minus condition. There lots of spindle marks and the print on both sides of record one have been damaged (see also the photo).
I am not 100% sure that this is a U.K. Export copy of the White album. I am sure that the cover is 100% U.K. made and that the mother plates, that were used for pressing these records, are from the U.K. The matrix numbers are printed in a typical U.K. Style and are:
Side 1: YEX 709-1
Side 2: YEX 710-1
Side 3: YEX 711-1
Side 4: YEX 712-1
