THE BEATLES - "THE BEATLES" aka The White Album - DOUBLE VINYL LP
APPLE - MONO - PMC 7067/8 - 1968 - UK
A 1st UK pressing original mono copy from 1968 complete with 1st pressing fully laminated sleeve with top opening edges and embossed & numbered on the front. Includes 4 photo cards, large foldout poster and original black inner sleeves.
Matrix numbers are YEX 709-1 / YEX 710-1 / YEX 711-1 / YEX 712-1
CONDITION
Discs VG+/EX- (both records have a lovely shine and just some light surface marks from inner sleeve removal - there are no bad marks, significant scratches or surface wear; labels show moderate spindlemarks on disc 1 and hardly any on disc 2; I have playgraded album in full and grade disc 1 as VG+, disc 2 as EX, both with very nice audio with no major surface noise, mainly clean clear sound, at most some mild surface presence here and there in the background that does not spoil the listening; no repetitive clicks/ticks at any stage - overall these are nice playing copies for the collection! Labels are bright and clean and have no marks or writing)
/ Sleeve EX- (the laminated gatefold sleeve is one of the better examples you will see with just some inevitable light ageing/storagewear to white and a bit of yellowing & laminate cracking to the spine; otherwise nice solid shape with flat surfaces and sharp unworn edges; no major creases; no tears, splits, writing, bad stains, laminate loss)
Cards EX to NR MINT and are unused with just one or two scratch marks
Poster EX- and is unused with only some light handling wear, a 1" tear in side..no splits, surface tears, writing
Black inner sleeves are EX- with one having a light surface tear near the die-cut centre, the other with small tear at opening, otherwise unsplit and showing just light disc impressions
