Here on offer is another from my personal collection! Being an avid UK Beatles collector myself, One of over 1000 Beatles UK albums alone that I have accumilated\collected over a period of more than 45 years. Please note! I own many, many original UK white albums in my collection at least 130 complete UK copies at the last count! I have decided to list this very very special copy of the white album, special for its absolutely stunning original condition and exceptional audio quality that can only be found like this very early pressing of this album! I have carefully and honestly tried to describe all aspects of this awesome album, please read carefully my full description bellow! This being an original (Very Early) UK press STEREO beatles (white album) early stampers on all four sides! Just listen to the album in the player below and hear the stereo seperation, quite special on this pressing! (Many copies sound very bland in comparison even when digitally recorded you can still hear how lovely that this copy sounds unbeleivably rare to find like this) Audio Very Near Mint Through Out on my systems!  the deep bassey feel and vibrancy can be felt as soon as the needle hits the playing surface, no other format can even come close to the feel of these awesome UK originals! Becoming almost impossible to find like this  for an original that is more than 43 years old!  This is totally complete and totaly original with all four photos in as new condition and the original large poster, never been put on a wall! This is highly collectable and sought after! I have very carefully play tested the vinyls on my Garard 401 turntable at very loud volume and also digitally recorded this for you to hear for your self, and I have conservatively graded the overall audio quality at least  excellent plus throughout, to near mint for the mos part in my opinion amazingly I heard no loud clicks or pops throughout during the play of the audio! Absolutely stunning real deep bassy feel only found like this on earliest UK  pressings, also which is so important is that this has obviously had very minimal play only! ,,Very rare to find!

This is probably the best sounding stereo copy that I have heard, the separation is astounding! Never need to upgrade from this Audio Archive Copy! Best Sounding Yet! (Yes, Even Number Nine!)

In fact this is probably one of the best sounding stereo copies that I have ever heard, so vibrant and clean, it feels like the Beatles are in the same room with separation to die for!

''The Beatles'' is the ninth official album by The Beatles, a double album released in 1968!!

It is most often referred to as '''The White Album'', as it has no text other than the band's name on its plain white sleeve, designed by pop artist Richard Hamilton. Originally planned to be titled A Doll's House, the album is often hailed as one of the major accomplishments in popular music!!!..

With this album, each of the four band members began to showcase the range and depth of his individual songwriting talents and styles that would be carried over to their eventual solo careers. For one thing, some Beatles began recording some of their songs individually, a heretofore unheard-of practice. For another, some songs that the individual Beatles were working on during this period eventually were released on solo albums (John Lennons "Jealous Guy"; Paul McCartney's "Junk" and "Teddy Boy"; George Harrison's "Not Guilty"). The album is also marked by experimentation with different musical genres!!

The album was recorded between 30 May 1968 and 14 October 1968, largely at Abbey Road Studios, with some sessions at Trident Studios!

Although productive, the sessions were sometimes fractious and exacerbated the growing tensions within the group. In the difficult seven months before the sessions, Brian Epstein died, and they had their first artistic and commercial failure in the Magical Mystery Tour television film, and a long trip to India to study Transcendental Meditation which ended in disillusionment for John Lennon!!.

Concurrent with the sessions, they were also in the midst of launching their new multimedia business corporation Apple Corps, which would lead to increased conflict within the group as the year progressed. These sessions also marked the first appearance in the studio of Lennon's new girlfriend and artistic partner Yoko Ono, who would thereafter be a constant presence. Prior to Ono's appearance on the scene, the individual Beatles had been very insular during recording sessions!!!.

Often McCartney would record in one studio while Lennon would record in another at the same time, using different engineers. At one point in the sessions, George Martin, whose authority over the band in the studio had waned, spontaneously left on vacation, leaving Chris Thomas in charge of producing the sessions. The studio tensions carried over into the Beatles' subsequent album and film project in early 1969, ultimately released as Let It Be. The Beatles' recording engineer Geoff Emerick quit during these sessions out of disgust!!!.

These sessions also marked the change from 4-track to 8-trak recording, although in essence this had started in 1966 and 1967 with the technique of 'bouncing down' several tracks onto one, to free up new tracks for recording!!!.

While Abbey Road Studios had yet to install an 8-track machine that had supposedly been sitting in a storage room unpacked for months (evidently because EMI could not afford its power cord) the Beatles decided to out-source to the more updated Trident Studios!!!.

Starr's temporary departure!

At one point during the recording sessions for the album, Starr suddenly walked out of the studio, feeling his role was minimized compared to that of the other members Lennon, McCartney and Harrison pleaded with Starr to return, and after two weeks he did. In Starr's absence, McCartney played drums on "Back in the U.S.S.R." and "Dear Prudence." Upon his return, he found his drum kit decorated with red, white and blue flowers, a welcome-back gesture from Harrison!

The vinyls

Visual inspection of both vinyls. Both lay perfectly flat on the turn table, and there are no warps. These are the very early thicker and chunky slabs of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings! These are the original.  They have retained their original glossy sheen from new And look superb! It is obvious to me that all four sides have had just very minimal play only in my personal opinion, these vinyls are not your typically well or over played vinyls, they are in exceptional condition for 43 years old!

On initial visual inspection when looking at the playing surfaces on all four sides , it is hard for me to see a blemish, importantly there are no deep feelable needle scratches that I can see at all! Only if scrutinised under a strong light can possibly any minute light whyspy marks/scuffs possibly be seen, but very importantly there are no marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops! Infact I never even heard one alien noise throughout the whole audio play of the vinyl, even played at very loud volume!

The Audio Quality

Please note! I have played all four sides track for track and I would class my self as highly critical and have given my honest opinion on the quality of the audio (which I rate at the very very top through out) Points to note! I have many, many original UK pressings of the white album collected over a period of 40 years! This original produces a really deep bassey audio which beleive me can not be surpassed on the later pressings! Many factors i have found contibute to this awesome sound, mainly the original thicker materials used and the fact that these are very (very) early stampers that make all the difference! (the very 1st from the given masters, would produce the cleanest and most vibrant audio quality on vinyl) Also the point that this has been well looked after and has had only minimal play only which has obviously to me been played on quality systems! (There is absolutely no distortion anywhere on this vinyl, so rare) Can not be surpassed in my opinion!

Points to note! I have played all four sides four times prior to listing on a top system at very loud volume! This album has been in my collection for at least 30 years and has been stored in a case with the vinyls seperated from the sleeves and cover! This is how I have always stored my records!!

Below i have given my honest opinion on the audio quality as I heard it! Please note! I follow (no) other codes or practices when describing or grading my records\vinyls other than my absolute honest opinion, and my grading in this instance is my opinion on the audio quality in comparison with the many many Beatles albums that I have heard and played in the past!. I would class myself as highly critical when it comes down to the audio quality and this was played four times at very loud volume on a top system prior to listing! Please look at my completed listings of records that I have listed of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right!

Important note! All four sides play through without any distortion. Which is normally so common on these albums often found played to death, not this one,, and very rare to find like this. It is my personal opinion that this album has only had minimal play only and certainly not overplayed, very minimal play due to the fact that there is very minimal spidering and ware  around the spindle hole and the audio is clear and vibrant throughout!

Side 1. Audio graded at least Excellent plus to Near Mint!  Plays through crystal clear and vibrant  through out  (no) groove ware\(no) distortion or that this has been overplayed at all. In strong light, any tiny light whispy surface marks are  (none) audio sounding that I heard that would cause any nasty annoying loud clicks or pops during the audio. Even between tracks and background noise is very quiet and minimal. Superbe awesome audio through out.  (perhaps light static ticks in between a couple of tracks, but amaizingly, I recall nothing annoying during the play of the audio) This played through absolutely awesome throughout with (no) loud clicks or pops or background noise during the audio that i heard !Stunning! One of the best sounding stereo copies that I have ever heard!

I always add this disclamer  please allow for the  odd light static/ticks  that might possibly be heard in quiet places only, but I honestly heard nothing at all.  This played through absolutely awesome throughout certainly no skips, jumps loud clicks or pops or distortion at all! Audio is very clear rated at the top!!! Again, one of the best sounding stereo copies that I have heard! My grading for side 1.  At least Excellent plus to near Near Mint throughout with certainly the most vibrant separation ever!

Side 2. Graded at least excellent plus to Near Mint!   Plays through cristal clear and vibrant  through out with No real interference that I could hear!   (no) grooveware or that this has been overplayed at all.  In strong light, any tiny light whispy surface marks are,,  (non) audio sounding that I heard that would cause any nasty annoying, clicks or pops during the audio. even between tracks and background noise is quiet/superbe astounding audio This played through absolutely awesome throughout with (no) clicks or pops during the audio or background noise that i heard ! Clear and very vibrant throughout!  overall is absolutely superbe (no) distortion clear and very vibrant!

My grading for side 2  At least Excellent plus to near Near Mint throughout with certainly the most vibrant separation ever!

Side 3. Graded at least excellent plus Plays through cristal clear and vibrant   (no) grooveware\ (no) distortion or that this has been overplayed at all In fact the actual audio is awesome cristal clear and vibrant with real rich basey feel and absolutely superb separation! . In strong light any tiny surface marks\scuffs\scratches that could possibly be seen, cause no loud constant clicks or pops that I heard  superb awesome top audio. Points to note! I heard about four or five very light scuff type ticks at loud volume on the outro to the last track on this side but I am being very highly critical here and in my opinion didn't detract from the overall audio experience at all in my personal opinion.

I always add this disclamer  please allow for the  odd light static/tick  that might possibly be heard in quiet places, but I honestly heard nothing in my opinion that spoilt the overall awesome audio experiance! This played through absolutely awesome throughout certainly no skips! Audio is very clear rated at the top!!! Again, one of the best sounding copies that I have heard! My grading for side 3  At least Excellent to Excellent plus very minor interference only!

Side 4. Graded at least excellent plus to Near Mint  Plays through cristal clear and vibrant   (no) grooveware\(no) distortion or that this has been overplayed at all In fact the actual audio is awesome cristal clear and vibrant with real rich basey feel and absolutely superbe seperation! . In strong light any tiny surface marks\scuffs that could possibly be seen, cause no clicks or pops that I heard what so ever. superbe awesome top audio even in between tracks lovely and quiet. I always add this disclamer  please allow for the  odd light static/tick  that might possibly be heard in quiet places, but I honestly heard nothing in my opinion that spoilt the overall awesome audio experiance! This played through absolutely awesome throughout certainly no skips! Audio is very clear rated at the top! Again, one of the best sounding copies that I have heard! My grading for side 4  At least Excellent plus to near Near Mint!

Audio summery!

All four sides were play tested by me four times prior to listing at very loud volume on a top system,  Although visably there might be some light/minute surface marks amaizinly these have little if No effect on the audio as I heard it!  I would grade all four sides, conservatively at least excellent plus to Near Mint absolutely stunning throughout! One of the most vibrant and exhilarating Beatles White album that I have ever heard and separation on this copy is very special indeed!

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd static perhapes in the form of very light isolated crackle\ticks that may only be heard during quiet places \tracks only and (not) consistant throughout the audio!! Please remember that these vinyls are genuine 43 years old and would have originally been played on a 43 year old system! All indications are that the vinyls have had only minimal play only in my opinion!

These vinyls have been stored in a case for more than 40 years and laying dormant. A build up of dirt and dust in he grooves from laying dormant ,causes static crackle /ticks. A constant clean before each play is highly recommended. This will reduce any static and enhance he audio quality. (Note, that debrit was seen on the laying surface after play of these vinyls)

Listen for yourself and hear the complete album all four sides in the player above. This digital recording enhances any static and is a great way to hear any flaws. To know that when played on analogue turntables that it will sound even better!

The labels

These feature the original (Dark Green) apple logos (only early press) ''Apple records .....'' featured around the label rim (only early press).also Mfd in  UK. ''sold in the UK........'' is featured across all four of the labels (only 1st press) EMI is featured on all sides.   Minimal spidering can be seen only angled in strong light In my opinion these vinyls have definately  not been overplayed at all.  Little if (no) spindle ware (the holes are perfectly round)  Please note! Importantly these vinyl's have not been over played!

The Record Sleeves

These are the originals in superbe condition,, ''black'' Apple company sleeves Which have one only label die cut hole, cut out on each sleeve (only early press) bothe are in very fragile condition with very minor light general ware at the edges only to mention. Amaizingly there are no edge splits or tares. there are light general creases and ware with age . Both are original and becoming very fragile with age and are stored separately from the vinyl and are the originals!

The Cover

This is the original ''Garrod and Lofthouse'' Gate fold (Top Opener) internal flipback, NUMBERED 0510151  This has been stored separated from the vinyls for protection for at least 40 years and has obviously protected this cover for all of this time from the usual vinyl indents and ringware!    In truly superbe condition! SUPER SUPER GLOSSY APPEARANCE! Any storage wear is minimal in my opinion and generally light in he form of light bumping , fading and creases only. There are (no) splits or tares! and amazingly no real main nasty creases. Any creases are small in general and in the laminate near the edges mainly. Light corner bumping can be seen if looked for at the corners.  (very rare to find like this) I would say that this cover is very bright and any yellowing or discoloring with age is very slight only and not really noticed unless looked for! (common on this white cover with age)  All text can be read at the spine with none of the usual  laminate flacking. Any rubbing or ringwear you would have to look at angles to the light to notice in my opinion. This cover is way above average condition.  This is graded at least excellent in my opinion!

 The poster.

This is the original (two sided) poster in superbe condition  One side contains the full lyrics of this album. Light creases with age bu never been used!

The Four Photos

Also these are the original colour photos of the four Beatles in superbe condition! As New!
