BEATLES WHITE ALBUM SWBO-1 1968 WITH RARE MATRIX SEQUENCE #2023653

SIDE 1: 1-101-H-70*
SIDE 2: 2-101-H-68*
SIDE 3: 3-101-H-74*
SIDE 4: SWBO-4-101-J-66*
2nd run of the first pressing with all the label errors corrected. Mfg. by Capitol on Side 2 and 4. Note the odd matrix sequence on Side 4. I have not been able to find another example of this matrix sequence on any other white album. Matrix sequences usually follow a pattern throughout a multi disc set, however this one does not. I believe at the time of this pressing the SWBO prefix usually indicated an east coast pressing. This is clearly an LA pressing as the symbol is on all 4 sides. Comes with poster and individual photos. Serial #2023653 (preceded by dot)
VINYL: NM- No surface noise. Plays like it is brand new. I spot tested on my turntable and was surprised at how good it was. Labels are clean and crisp.
COVER: VG++ Very clean. Has very minor shelf wear. Seams and binding are tight. Gatefold still has resistance even with the record and inserts loaded. Very minor yellow splotch on front cover on the middle right hand side. Cover still has gloss and luster. PLEASE NOTE: My camera has some lens aberrations that show up as small grey splotches. These are not on the cover.
INSERTS: VG Poster and photos still shiny and untouched.
This is great copy of a first pressing white album!!
