BEATLES UK, With the Beatles and Beatles for Sale LPs.
With the Beatles, unusual ‘twin’ flip back sleeve, UK, circa 1970.
PCS 3045, two EMI box, black and silver Parlophone labels.
A UK copy from 1970 in original condition, featuring:
1. a hard to find, top and bottom, twin ‘flip back’ sleeve. These sleeves were to be the last of the ‘flip back’ sleeves before EMI stopped using the ‘flip back’ design altogether,
2. no stereo logo on the front of the sleeve. For a short time EMI removed the ‘stereo’ logo from the front of the sleeves, but these stereo logos were to re appear on later sleeves !,
3. the records label text around the edge begins with, ‘The Gramophone’ etc, circa 1970,4. comes with its original, circa 1970 red and white period EMI advertising inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition. The sleeve is laminated on the front. This laminate has an excellent glossy finish. The spine is in excellent condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The sleeve features the original 1970 period, ‘twin flip back’ design, fold over edges. The rear of the sleeve has remained an excellent clean, fresh white. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original period, circa 1970 red and white EMI advertising sleeve. The two opening edges have remained clean and unworn, a very well preserved inner sleeve. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.
THE RECORD: is in near excellent condition. The record is made from the period, ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. It has remained very dark and glossy.
The matrix are: YEX 110 – 2 and YEX 111 – 2,
The mother/stampers are: ‘4 P P’ and ‘25 O H’.
THE AUDIO: is near excellent, it plays with some light ‘crackle’ heard here and there. It plays with a full powerful, loud period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: are in excellent+ condition. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

A UK first issue mono album in original condition.CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front and rear of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in near very good condition and all the text on the spine is clear to read. The original two top and bottom ‘flip backs’ can be seen when the ‘gate fold’ sleeve is opened. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition and is the original EMI ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. There is a slight split to the two side edges.
THE RECORD: side one is in near excellent condition, side two is in excellent condition. The record has remained very dark and glossy. It is made of the period 1960s ‘thick and heavy’ vinyl.
The matrix are: XEX 503 - 3N and XEX 504 - 4N,
The mother / stampers are: ‘18 GMG’ and ‘12 HR’.
THE AUDIO: side one plays near excellent, it plays with some light ‘crackle’, heard here and there. Side two plays excellent, it plays with some light ‘crackle heard here and there. The record plays with an excellent full, loud period mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: are in very good++ condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed onto the record label on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
