BEATLES UK – ‘With the Beatles’ LP, Ex ‘E J Day’ Mono sleeve.

PMC 1206 – original  Black and Yellow Parlophone labels.

A UK album in 100% original condition featuring:

1. a hard to find, Mono sleeve made by the company ‘E J Day’, these sleeves are very hard to find in clean undamaged condition.

2. this sleeve appears to be an earlier ‘E J Day’ sleeve as is features the uncorrected spelling of ‘Gotta a’  for the song ‘You really got a hold on me’. On the record label on side two this song in spelt ‘Got a’  hold on me !

3. a first press matrix of 1 / 1.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front is laminated.  A hard to find sleeve made by the company ‘E J Day’, there are virtually NO thumb nail laminate creases to the front of the sleeve.  The  spine is in excellent condition it has remained an excellent clean white, all the text can be read.  The rear of the sleeve has remained a very clean white for its age.  The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. 

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve.   The sleeve has  NO  pen writing, tears, splits, stains, stickers or sticker residue. 

THE VINYL:  is in excellent+ condition and has a  ‘new’  look to it, it is clear that it has not been played much at all. The vinyl is made from the old style, ‘thick and heavy’ vinyl, it has remained very dark and glossy. 

The matrix  nos. are:  XEX  447 – 1N  and  XEX  448 – 1N,

The Mother/Stampers are:   very early  ‘1   6    G T T’   and    ‘9 G O H’.

THE AUDIO: is excellent, the best audio playback quality I have heard  for  a long  time.  The vinyl lays flat on the turntable and plays excellent with NO jumps or sticking from the needle.

THE LABELS:  are in very good++ condition, the letters ‘ K T ’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The publishing credit for the track ’Money’ is shown as ‘Dominion, Belinda’ etc.  The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
