BEATLES UK – WHITE ALBUM, ORIGINAL STEREO.

1968 PCS 7067/7068 -  APPLE RECORD LABELS.

AN EXCELLENT UK FIRST EDITION TOP LOADING STEREO PRESSING WITH A UNIQUE SERIAL NUMBER OF ‘ No. 0404678 ’. 

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE:  is in near excellent condition, the double album gatefold sleeve is fully laminated and has remained  very glossy and a very fresh white in colour.     On the front it has  an embossed Beatles logo and a unique individual SERIAL Number of  No. 0404678.    The four opening edges of the sleeve are in excellent+ condition,   to the rear there is the small   ‘Stereo’ text printed proving this to be a genuine  STEREO sleeve.    The records are accessed from the top.   The spine is in very good condition and  all the text is   clear to read.   The sleeve features visible flipbacks when the sleeve is opened, these flipbacks are all excellent and well stuck down.  When the sleeve is opened it is very white, glossy, clean and tidy.     There are NO  splits, stains,  pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue.  A very clean, white sleeve that’s been  very well preserved over the years.  

THE INNER SLEEVES: are the two original APPLE black inners and have NOT been  replaced.    The two sleeve are in excellent condition, with  NO splits or tears.  There are two very small ‘nicks’  to one of the  sleeves.

THE POSTER: is in excellent+  condition,  with very little wear to the folds and edges.   There is some  slight age related marks. Theres  NO pen writing,  sellotape residue,   pin hole damage or blue tack residue,   NO tears,   stickers or sticker residue.

THE PHOTOS:  : are in  excellent  condition  and are the originals made from thick card,  the  photos  have NOT been replaced or swapped.  The rear of the photos are still white and very clean.   Oddly there  are two photos of Ringo and no photo of Paul !.   Theres  NO pen writing,  sellotape residue,  pin hole damage or blue tack residue,   NO tears,  stains, stickers or sticker residue.

THE VINYL:  record one, side one is in excellent condition, side two is in near excellent condition,  record two, side three is in excellent condition and side  four is in near  excellent condition. The two records are made of the original  ‘ thick and heavy ’ vinyl and are very dark and glossy.  

The matrix nos. are:     YEX   709 –    unusually  2 ,  YEX  710 - 1, YEX  711 - 1 and  YEX 712 - 1.    

The Mother/Stampers are:   ‘ 1    G G R ’,    ‘ 3    A A ’, ‘ 4 GDD  ’ and ‘  6    M  T  ’.  

THE AUDIO:  side one is near excellent, with just some static heard,   side two is excellent,  side three and four is very good. Each record lays flat on the turntable and plays  well with  NO sticking or jumps from  the needle.

THE LABELS:   side one is in very good++ condition, sides two, three and four are in excellent condition.  As this is a first press the labels feature the original  DARK green Apple colours. All the labels show   the text  ‘Sold in the UK’ etc,  the George and Ringo songs are listed as ‘Apple Publishing’.    All four labels have the text    ‘An EMI Recording’.

Packing - all records are sent out with multi layered card stiffeners.    All records will be removed from their  original inner and outer sleeves  to avoid any damage, the record will then be put into a second inner sleeve for maximum protection while in transit.

Discounts will be given on postage for multiple purchases.

In the UK  –  records  that sell for over the value of £41 will  be sent  ‘recorded delivery’ and there maybe an additional cost for insurance as the seller has no protection if the item goes missing in the post etc, therefore the post and packing charges may vary.
