BEATLES UK - Rubber Soul, very 1st UK Mono LP, ‘Loud cut’.

PMC 1267 - original 1965 Mono yellow & black Parlophone Labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. a very first UK Mono copy of this LP with the 1 / 1 matrix, now referred to as the ‘Loud cut’. Upon its first release in the UK back in December 1965 attempts were made to recall these first pressings as the Beatles record producer was not happy with the overall sound balance. These 1/1 records were quickly replaced with the more familiar 4 / 4 Mono matrix.

2. on the record label on side two there are the letters 'MT' embossed, this is odd as this code was not used after July 1963,

3. the record label on side one has a 'rough' texture surface around the centre, the label on side two has a regular 'smooth' finish,

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in near excellent condition and all the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features a tri flipback design. The rear of the sleeve has remained a good clean white for its age. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There are some light age marks on the rear of the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve, a well preserved, excellent white, fresh sleeve.Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue.

THE VINYL: is in near excellent condition, the vinyl is made from the period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. It has remained dark and glossy.

The matrix are :    XEX 579 - 1    and    XEX 580 – 1,

The mother / stampers are:    ‘1   T T ’   and   ‘2   G D G’.

THE AUDIO: is excellent, it plays with some of the usual light 'dusty' crackle, an excellent playing copy that plays loud and clear. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are in very good++ condition, there are the letters ‘M T’ embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
