Description
BEATLES UK – Revolver, textured labels, original UK mono.
PMC 7009 - original 1966 mono yellow and black Parlophone labels.
A UK album in original condition, featuring:
1. each of the record labels have a more unusual ‘textured’ surface to them, different to the regular, smoother, paper surface of regular labels,
2. unusual, ‘mothers’ engraved onto side one, they are: ‘610’. These ‘mothers’ are usually just one or maybe two numbers !,
3 on the record label on side two there is the spelling of ‘Doctor’, but on the rear of the sleeve this track is spelt as ‘Dr’, for the track ‘Doctor Robert !’,
4 on the record label on side one there is an additional ‘dot’ that appears within the text ‘Sold in U.K.’ etc, as it reads, ‘Sold in .U.K.’ etc, this additional ‘dot’ does not appear on label two.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. There is just one slight thumb crease to the front of the laminate. The spine is in very good condition and all the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the period, 1960s ‘tri flip back’ design. There are NO tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is a slight ‘nick’ to the front, lower part of the opening edge and a small ‘nick’ to the rear, lower part of the opening edge. There are some ‘indentations’ to the rear of the sleeve. The rear, top right flip back has a name and a date, ‘July ‘66’ written in faded blue pen.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original, period EMI black and white advertising sleeve. A very clean and well preserved sleeve for its age. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stains, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve.
THE RECORD: side one is in very good condition. Side two is in near very good condition. It is made from the period, 1960s ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl.
The matrix are: XEX 605 - 2 and XEX 606 – 2,
The mother / stampers are: ‘ 610 (unusual) R T D ’ and ‘ 1 R D A ’.
THE AUDIO: is very good++, it plays with some light crackle. It plays with a loud, full period mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: are in near excellent condition. The letters ‘K T’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
DISCOUNT WILL BE GIVEN ON POSTAGE FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES.
