ALBUM PLAYED FOR AUDIO GRADING:

Yes – brilliant! – VERY GOOD PLUS sound quality throughout

This great record plays up to the high visual grading and beyond. Strong, undistorted sound, with some light background noise in quiet areas, but on the whole still very enjoyable. 

There are some light pops at the start of ‘Drive My Car’, but nothing to spoil the sound. Norwegian Wood’ has clear strong sound, with no pops or clicks. I noticed a few light pops during ‘Michele’ but nothing dominant or continuous. At the start of ‘What goes round’ there is a light repeat click and then lovely clear sound during tracks like ‘Run For Your Life’.     The Mono sound jumps out, with definition and clarity,  and tremendous power.

Revolver is the seventh album by The Beatles, released on 5 August 1966. Many of the tracks on Revolver are marked by an electric guitar-rock sound, in contrast with their previous, folk rock inspired Rubber Soul. It reached number 1 on both the UK and US Charts and stayed at the top spot for seven weeks and six weeks, respectively.

The album is often regarded as one of the greatest achievements in rock music history, and one of the Beatles' greatest studio achievements. It was released before their last tour in August 1966, but they did not perform songs from the album live. Their reasoning for this was that many of the tracks on the album, such as "Tomorrow Never Knows", were too complex to perform with live instruments.

THE RECORD – VISUAL GRADING – VERY GOOD

A heavy extra thick vinyl in glossy condition. There are a  number of hairlines, scuffs,  scratches and handling marks.  On saying that none of the scratches are deep, and none of the marks are that prominent, and the album plays right through with NO sticks or jumps what so ever.

VINYL SOUND - Please Note:

Top quality vinyl with clear sound is rare, and is what I always aim for. Even with the cleanest copies you will find occasional static sound during playback, caused by a build of dust in the grooves. This is clearly different from the distortion, loud pops or clicks that are found on heavily played and worn pieces of vinyl. Any static build up will reduce when played, and I advise a light clean should be given between plays for optimal performance.

VINYL TESTED FOR ANY SIGNS OF WARPING:

Yes, NONE visible what so ever when tested be sight and on a moving turntable.

ALBUM IS COMPLETE WITH THE MONO ISSUE GARROD OUTER SLEEVE WITH THE PATENTS PENDING TEXT TO THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE REAR. 

JUST A COUPLE OF LAMINATE CREASES, THE SPINE IS 100% SOLID & READABLE, NO RIPS OR TEARS. THE REAR OF THE SLEEVE IS ALSO CLEAN AND BRIGHT, NO RINGWEAR AND NO GRAFFITI, EXCEPT FOR A LIGHT NAME INDENTATION ON THE FRONT COVER, WHICH IS VERY HARD TO SEE, and CERTAINLY NO INK MARKS. 

GREAT CONDITION BECOMING MORE AND MORE UNUSUAL FOR THESE FRAGILE UK ISSUE 60'S SLEEVES. AN EXTREMELY RARE AND COLLECTABLE EXAMPLE

Comes with The Original First Press Inner Sleeve with Polythene Lining, intact and in great condition. States: "USE EMITEX..." & "IMPORTANT - TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR MICROGROOVE RECORDS ..."

EXCELLENT condition, - NO tears around the die cut opening, NO seem splits and NO wear at the top. Just some light disclouration. A strong example.

EARLY MONO PRESSINGS of REVOLVER in playable condition as becoming scarce. The vinyl is so often played so much, heavily marked, scratched, with noisy, poor and distorted sound.   The cover is almost impossible to find without serious wear, even modestly worn examples are scarce and this one is pretty solid, with no cracks or serious marks. Finding a nice cover like this, with a heavy piece of vinyl, fantastic!.

  MINT: Virtually unplayed. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover is pristine.

  EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

  V.G PLUS: The record will still be nice and shiny, but may have a few light marks, and will play well. Slight wear and tear on the cover.

  V.G: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.

  GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc.

  FAIR: Fair. It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated very noticeably. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.
