After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!

This auction is for a rare export copy of the Beatles LP 'Hey Jude'.

Hey Jude was originally released in America in 1970, and EMI UK produced these copies specifically for export for foreign countries due to demand. These featured EMI / Parlophone catalogue numbers but with a C prefix at the start, indicating a Capitol release. These only had a very limited press run and, today, are highly collectible!

This particular copy features the album title and catalogue number both on the spine and on the top seam!

A great addition for your Beatles collection!

The cover is looking really nice with some light, general wear and tear. The front has a lovely, rich colour and no dirt buildup on the laminate. There's a light hint of disc impression and some little laminate creases around the edges. A previous seller decided to write their price sticker *after* sticking it to the cover, so it's left a light indent of their writing at the top left corner. You can make it out as "CPCS 106 APPLE LAB VG VG £40". This is in small lettering and, unless you were specifially looking for it, would be easy to miss. Top seam is holding okay - there's a tiny 1" wearspot in the middle but this hasn't split through. All the text if fully legible. Bottom seam is both holding tightly with no wear or splitting. The spine has a few little laminate creases running through it but is fully legible, unworn and has not split. The back has slightly more noticeable disc impression and a little more creasing around the edges. There're a couple of little laminate bubbles at the bottom half of the spine. Overall, though, looking good!   Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG-

The playing surface, as a whole, looks really nice with a good shine and only light scuffing. I would have graded this a solid VG+/EX-, but unfortunately there are two heavy scuffmarks on side 1 at the 10 o'clock position that go through the first three tracks. They aren't feelable under the fingernail so I suspect they may be more a cosmetic mark and wouldn't affect play too much. But without a record player I can't guarantee this.

The labels are clean, crisp and clear with no damage to them whatsoever bar one light, faint solitary spindlemark on each label. That's it! Incredible labels!.
