Description

This very rare, sought after record by Beatle collectors' is mint, sealed, never opened.  It is hardly ever offered.  Especially in this sealed condition. It contains the mix of "Love Me Do" with Ringo on drums.  At the time (1964) this version was found only on UK singles.  It is thought that this LP is the only non-authorized release.  Before 1980, the only time the "Ringo On Drums" version appeared in the US was in April 1964, on a album of called "The Original Greatest Hits" released on the Greatest Hits label (GRC-1001).  The album hit the stores as if was just another Beatles sound alike group like the Liverpools or the Manchesters, because it only had the outlines of Beatle style wigs on the cover.  But it contained the actual Beatle recordings, all dubbed from records.  And it included "Love Me Do" dubbed from a Canadian 45 as the first song on side 2.  It has not yet been released by Tollie in the US, and even the "Introducing the Beatles" LP with "Love Me Do" on it (as opposed to "Please Please Me" was very rare. Although nothing on the sleeve of this record mentions the Beatles, the images on the front and song titles were enough to tip off most people.  As the story goes, Capital Records stopped distribution of this LP almost immediately after it came out.
