Description
Original Owner - I received this box set as a birthday present in 1983 and only played them ONCE to make tape recordings, so the vinyl is in like new condition. They have safely resided essentially undisturbed in the same non-smoking home since being purchased.
I'm including two nice bonus items; a mint British pressing of the Beatles Past Masters double album and the Rolling Stone special edition; "The Beatles - The Ultimate Album-by-Album Guide". While not a Mobile Fidelity product, Past Masters completes the collection since this double album includes ALL the songs not contained on the box set's 14 original albums. Amazingly, the boxed collection was produced with an extra empty slot and the Past Masters album fits perfectly in that slot. The Rolling Stone booklet contains 122 pages, full of rare photos and fascinating & insightful information on each album. It slides nicely into the same slot with the box set's original booklet.

This is a Mobile Fidelity Limited Edition LOW NUMBER #3301 !!!
Box, sleeves, artwork, geo pad and COA are all like new... flawless. Records are like new.
All fourteen discs were pressed on high definition Super Vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. The LPs are Half-Speed Mastered with the Ortofon Cutting System from the Original Stereo Master Tapes. All records have a special static free, dust free inner sleeve and heavy-duty protective packaging.
Each vinyl is housed in a protective rice paper sleeve inserted in a gatefold card sleeve which inserts into MFSL custom outer sleeve. Each sleeve features a photograph of the master tape and includes the dates the recordings took place.
The outer box itself is a solid black, sturdy hinged box with felt bottom made for storage. The whole presentation is first class all the way. Mobile Fidelity-style!
In short, this is as good a Beatle representation that exists on vinyl. This box set has been OUT OF PRINT for 25 years making this a major collector's item!
