Description

For sale - from my personal collection - the following 14-LP box set by THE BEATLES, titled:

"THE COLLECTION"

Original Master Recording MFSL, STEREO, made in USA. Complete set with all accessories provided by factory.

Limited Edition Number 18,954.

I am the second owner of this set purchased about seventeen years ago from the original owner who only opened the package to inspect the contents. He never played any of the 14 LPs. The box set was stored in the same place in my living room all this time, protected by two plastic bags, never moved except recently for taking pictures.

CONTENTS:

- 14 LPs

- Certificate of Limited Warranty

- Booklet

- Geodisc

CONDITION:

Everything is MINT: box, accessories, records (never played or removed from their sleeves)

SPECIAL REMARKS:

- the only difference between this set and one sealed is that the original packaging is no longer available (since it was not saved by the original owner)

- each item (booklet, records, geodisc) was placed in an outer plastic sleeve for extra safety and protection (I did this as soon as I brought the set home)

- the top price paid for a similar box set in SEALED condition was $2,500 (Popsike source, eBay auction). Is the original carton packaging worth $1,000 extra over my asking price?!
