Description
A VG condition Mono copy. I believe there was only one Mono pressing so this is a most likely a first pressing. This is not really a "Beatles album" but a compilation "documentary" put together by Capitol to cash in on The Beatles popularity following "A Hard Day's Night." There are only snippets of songs - it's mostly interviews and ads and a narration of their story. It sold very poorly - word got around fast that there were no songs. But as far as scarcity goes, it's not an easy record to find and it does look decent.
VINYL: VG. Somebody must have listened to it a lot or become frustrated while listening because there are scratches and background noise. It's not a good listening experience and that should be taken into account when bidding.
COVER: VG to VG+ The top seams are both split about 3 inches starting at the mouth of the jacket. The bottom seams are not split but a little frayed. The front cover has a couple of light marks but overall displays very nicely and is very clean compared to most I've seen. The back cover has a bit of discoloring near the middle. The spine looks good.
INNER SLEEVES: Not original
LABELS: No writing or scratches – the spindle holes are clean. The labels may be the part of this record that are in the best condition. .
Please note that this record is being sold as-is with no claims of condition for the LP or the jacket. Every stereo is a little different and I am not a professional album jacket grader. If you don't bid more than $20 you should be happy. I hope that between the photos and my description you can get an idea of the condition but again, it is being sold as-is with no returns.
