Description
As an avid Beatles fan, I have collected many items over the past years. I am not a dealer or a store. The items I have decided to sell are from my own collection. Most of my items, I have bought new. Very rarely did I purchase used, If I have, I will state it in my descriptions.
For this auction, I am selling the Beatles Black album. This is a bootleg 3 vinyl record set, which is a look alike version of the White album. It is a real neat packaging concept. It has "THE BEATLES" in raised letters on the front cover. It is completely black. On the inside jacket, there are four different photos of the Beatles, and it even has a large poster, set up the same as what was in the White album. Instead of the words to the songs printed on the back side, it is written conversations. It did not come with the four single pictures. The music is from rehearsals, with conversations mixed in. The sound is pretty good compared to some bootleg productions.
The album and jacket are in excellent condition. The jacket has no ring wear, writing, tape, stains, odor, bends, creases,or split seams. However, this is a bi-fold cover, and when opened up, there is a crease, I think from the uneven-ness with the three albums inside. It is not bad, but one can notice it. The vinyl is in excellent condition. I bought this set new, and I have played it once in its entirety. No visible scratches, or marks.
Though this album is a bootleg, it's pretty cool to listen to, and to have and show off. It is kind of like knowing what is was like to be sitting around during rehearsals and recordings.
This album, along with my entire collection was never stored in the basement, attic, or garage. Each item I have, has been and still are covered in an outer plastic sleeve.
