THE BEATLES – Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearst Club Band
On offer here is a very rare double EP set by The Beatles that was issued by
Top 4 in Iran in the 1960’s. The cat. nr. is EX 4174 / 75. The side 4 contains a
unique version of the ’ A Day In The Life ’ , because the last chord is missing
from the end of the song. Moreover the ’ Sgt. Peppers….. reprise ’song is not
indicated neither on the cover nor on the label and the ’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely
Hearts….’ song is misprinted both on the cover and label as ’ Sgt. Peppr’s…..’
Tracks are:
Side 1: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely…. / With A Litlle Help… /
Side 2: Lucy In The Sky…. / Getting Better
Side 3: Lovely Rita / Good Morning, Good Morning
Side 4: Sgt. Pepper’s… reprise / A Day In The Life
Condition of the records:
SIDE 1: Visually is in VG – condition. The playing surface has lots of light surface marks
all over but no serious scratches. There are stronger background noises here and
there but plays well and the sound quality is still enjoyable. No skips or jumps.
SIDE 2: Similar than side 1, except the ’ Getting Better ’ song, there is a very small, but deep
scratch and the needle jumps in twice and you can heard a few strong pops.
SIDE 3: Same than side 1
SIDE 4: Similar than side 1, except the ’ A Day In The Life ’ song, there are stronger
background noises throughout.
Condition of the sleeve:
This is in Fair to Good condition. A piece of the front sleeve is missing,
and some small pieces are missing from the other parts( see in the pictures).
