On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THE RAREST SGT PEPPER LP EVER MADE!!!!  IN FACT, THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST BEATLES LPS OF ALL TIME!!!!  EVEN BLACK & GOLD STEREOS TURN UP MORE OFTEN THAN THIS INCREDIBLE LP!!!!  AND WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO SPECIAL IS THAT IT HAS AN IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'MONO/STEREO' COVER (SEE PICTURES)!!!!  ONLY A FEW HUNDRED OF THESE COVERS WERE EVER MADE - AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT THAT THIS IS THE RAREST SGT PEPPER LP OF ALL TIME!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO IMPOSSIBLY RARE!!!!

BY EARLY 1969 RIGHT AT THE VERY END OF THE 1ST PRESSING RUN - EMI KNEW MONOS WERE ON THEIR WAY OUT.  VIRTUALLY EVERY RECORD COMPANY WAS GIVING STEREOS ABSOLUTE PRIORITY - SO THEY COULD PHASE MONO OUT AND ONLY RELEASE ANY RECORD IN ONE FORMAT.  HOWEVER MONOS WERE STILL VERY MUCH IN DEMAND (DESPITE EMI's EFFORTS TO PROMOTE STEREO LPS) - AND SGT PEPPER WAS STILL A BIG SELLING LP (EVEN IN EARLY 1969) IN MONO & STEREO.  AND (PROBABLY AFTER SEEING DECCAS MONO/STEREO COVERS) THEY THOUGHT OF MONEY SAVING IDEAS TO AVOID PRODUCING MONO & STEREO COVERS ON SUCH A BIG SELLING LP.  SO THEY DECIDED TO ORDER A SMALL TRIAL RUN (ONLY A FEW HUNDRED AT THE VERY MOST!) OF 'MONO/STEREO' COVERS.  HOWEVER (FOR WHATEVER REASON) THIS IDEA NEVER TOOK OFF.  MOST LIKELY EMI COULD SEE MONOS WERE VIRTUALLY FINISHED ANYWAY - AND THIS IDEA NEVER ACTUALLY GOT PAST THE 'TRIAL' STAGE.  NATURALLY RATHER THAN WASTE THEM - EMI DECIDED TO USE THE TRIAL RUN COVERS - AND USED THEM UP IN GENERAL CIRCULATION WITH THE VERY LAST OF THE YELLOW & BLACK MONO 1ST PRESSINGS.  AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO AMAZINGLY RARE!!!!  BECAUSE THESE IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'MONO/STEREO' COVERS WERE ONLY EVER MADE IN 1 TINY BATCH FOR TRIAL PURPOSES ONLY - THEY SIMPLY NEVER TURN UP FOR SALE!!!!   ONLY 200/300 WERE EVER MADE (AT THE VERY MOST!) AND THIS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT MAKES THIS LP THE RAREST SGT PEPPER LP OF ALL TIME!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!

This is the ORIGINAL UK MONO 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in AWESOME condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1. The Cat. No is PMC 7027 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!!  All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in AMAZING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED 2 OR 3 TIMES AT THE VERY MOST!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 absolutely ULTRA light hairline trace (only visible under the EXTREME light possible!), NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and NO background sound AT ALL (apart from a MEGA slight touch on the run on grooves - NONE elsewhere)!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 'Patents' inner sleeve which is EXACTLY correct for this ULTRA RARE Mono pressing and is in absolutely AMAZING condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Insert is in PERFECT uncreased condition and has clearly NEVER been removed from the cover!!!!  The IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'Mono/Stereo' Gatefold Flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' FULLY Laminated Cover is in AWESOME condition!!!!  THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST CONDITIONED MONO/STEREO COVER LEFT IN EXISTENCE!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), SUPERB shiny laminate, barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking), NO indentations of ANY kind, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in AWESOME condition wh NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, SUPERB flipbacks, and a PERFECT inside spine!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!!  AWESOME COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
