This listing is for the rare 'Fourth Proof' SLEEVE ONLY!!! NO RECORD!!

This is the earliest possible Pepper sleeve with 'Fourth Proof' and 'AR D 13217'  printed on the inside of the gatefold ....these were test covers to approve the artwork and weren't supposed to be released ...only a few slipped out due to a printing error and this is one of them!

Very 1st issue fully laminated flipback gatefold sleeve with the aforementioned 'Fourth Proof' credit and 'Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending' credit on back (only first issue covers had the 'Patents pending' credit) 

CONDITION

EX+ (one of the best examples of this iconic gatefold sleeve I have ever seen -  bright, glossy and clean with sharp edges and no creasing, no damage or lift to the laminate.....there is very little to fault it... the very slightest softening to corner points and very slight feathering to top section of top flap, the spine also has some very slight crinkling to its top section, there is one tiny half-moon crease to front laminate and a couple of small mild creases to back laminate which are only seen when angled to light....inside the gatefold is immaculate with beautiful tight flipbacks... would be hard to find a better copy of this rare Beatles collectible!)

 

ALL RECORDS CLEANED, PACKED IN PROFESSIONAL CARDBOARD MAILERS WITH STIFFENERS AND POSTED TWICE A WEEK.
