Dear Ebayers,
Up for Auction from The Aurum Vault is a solid average copy of The Beatles 1967 Seargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in MONO featuring the NO NEMS/MACLEN reverse gatefold thus designating it as an early release first pressing from the SCRANTON manufacturing plant. I just finished inspecting this Gatefold and Vinyl with Acessories in my music room. The final verdict of my critical inspection is as follow:

• Shows light and typical wear for its age. About average compared other specimens I have seen. 
• The gatefolds color mellowed with aging, but the corners are very sharp. There are faint initials on the back lower right side. BUT NO SPLITS. The texture of the gatefold is starting to brittle a little bit. The gatefold graphics or artwork shows some wear and are a little flat or dulled to the eye.
• THE VINYL appears a solid near mint (-) per GOLDMINE Criteria. There are some light wispy marks or lines but no frank scratches or scuffs. Still retains a very bright glossy finish as seen in photos.
• The labels are in near mint condition as well. 
• The Blood Sleeve does a 4-inch separation at the bottom. The Green inserts are excellent condition. 

SO OVERALL- NOT AS NICE A MY OTHERS AUCTION BUT A SOLID AVERAGE  Graded GATEFOLD w/ ~NM (-) VINYL AND LABELS. THE VINLY AND AUDIO QUALITY IS THE GEM OF THIS SPECIMEN. This record and gatefold were purchased by me about 15 years ago on EBAY and it is probably still in my history somewhere.
HAS ALL THE FEATURES OF A FIRST PRESS MONO 1967:

1. NO NEMS CREDITS -BACK COVER INDICATES THAT THIS IS THE VERY 1ST ISSUED COVER WITHOUT THE SMALL PRINT "© NEMS ENTERPRISES LTD. 1967" COPYRIGHT CLAIM ABOVE THE FACTORY INFORMATION IN THE LOWER RIGHT AREA. IT ALSO DOES NOT HAVE THE "ALL RIGHTS" AND "MACLEN MUSIC INC." PRINT.. 
2. A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS song title on label.
3. FLAT black AND NON-GLOSSY LABELS INDICITIVE OF SRANTON PRESSING.

The gatefold show light wear there are a few discoloration spots on the reverse. FRONT of the gatefold cover is clean.
BOTTOM LINE: A VERY RESPECTABLE AVERAGE 1967 SMAS 2653 MONO PEPPERS SPECIMEN THAT WOULD BE A  STARTER ALMUM FOR A NEW COLLECTOR. THE VINYL IS THE GEM OF THIS SPECIMEN. IT WOULD APPEAL TO A AUDIOPHIL LOOKING TO ADD TO THEIR VINYL RESERVES AS WELL.   THIS VINYL RECORD HAS ALL THE TYPICAL FEATURES OF A  1967 FIRST PRESSING MONO MAS 2563 BEATLES SPLHCB GATEFOLD AND DISC.
NOW THE FORMALITIES: SHIPS VIA USPS MEDIA MAIL FULLY INSURED AND WILL SHIP IN A LARGER TYPE BOX AT MY DESCRETION TO ENSURE THE SAFEST AND SECRUE SHIPPING. ALL THREE BEATLES SGPLHB LPs. AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICKUP WILL BE PACKAGED IN A THICK TOP LOADER AND SEALED VERY WELL and PACKED TO SURVIVE A HURRICANE. RETURNS ACCEPTED IF TRUELY NOT HAPPY WITH ITEM.
