BEATLES ~ SGT PEPPER ~ UK Original 60's issue PCS 7027 EX+ throughout
This is a very clean original UK Stereo 60's pressing of Sgt.Peppers Lonely
Hearts Club Band.
Easy enough to find one, hard to find this clean. The front cover has a little
laminate lift bottom right corner, otherwise spotless. Spines all clean, rear
cover with a spot of laminate lift bottom right, a tiny crease bottom left. Bottom
right extreme corner the only corner wear. Inner gatefold is very clean,
the spine creaks when you open it, the gatefold won't sit flat for photos.
The insert is like new, the original inner is barely creased. The labels show a
couple of spindle trails, so played once or twice. The vinyl surface looks stone
mint until you examine under strong light, when you can spot one hairline and
totally inaudible fine mark across the a-side, otherwise none of the fine wear
you get taking in and out of the sleeve, no background noise, pretty much
perfect when played. We've had dozens of these over the years, this one's as
clean as we've seen, one hairline mark away from spotless vinyl and sounds as
close to mint as you could ask for.
