These Beatles Capitol Compact 33 7" EPs were made in the most limited of quantities with very few known to still exist, and are in the highest demand by the most serious of Beatles collectors in the U.S. and around the globe !!


The Beatles Second Album Compact 33 was released in April 1964 and was the second of only 3 to ever be released by Capitol Records in this mini-album 7" EP super rare jukebox version, and pressed exclusively on the East Coast.



"MFD BY CAPITOL RECORDS INC U. S. A." and "T.M. MARCA REG U.S. PAT. NO. 2,631,859" were printed at outer rim.

The compact 33 was an experimental and extremely short-lived disc format of the early 1960s. The disc measures seven inches in diameter (45 sized), has a small center hole, and plays at 33-1/3 RPM. The format was used primarily for mono and stereo singles.

COMMENTS Capitol issued stereo compact 33 discs for jukebox play.

These 7 inch records had a small centre hole (solid centre) and played at 1/3 33 r.p.m.


Record Condition :- There are some light surface marks to be seen but the sound is superb and I therefore grade this as EXCELLENT
