Description

ARTIST:  The Beatles

TITLE: Rubber Soul

LABEL: Parlophone PCS 3075 (1960's yellow/black label)

You are bidding on what is arguably the rarest variation of the Beatles UK classic "Rubber Soul."  Unlike most of the covers printed for this LP, this cover has the 'stereo' logo erroneously printed in grey at the top right corner.  Only a few of these have survived because the error was quickly fixed.  These do not come up for auction very often and this example is one of the better one's you will find.

CONDITION (COVER): The rare cover is a solid VG++ condition(EX+ by UK "Record Collector" Standards).  There is no writing, ringwear, seamsplits, tears or any other serious issues.  The only flaw is some minor handling and light creasing in the laminate that are only noticeable if you look very closely.  The back cover is still very white and all 3 flipbacks are fully intact.

CONDITION (RECORD): The vinyl is conservatively graded VG++ to NM- condition (EX+ to NM by UK "Record Collector" standards).  Under a bright halogen lamp there are a couple of very light sleeve marks visible on each side, but in normal light the record appears NM and unmarked.  Both labels are in NM condition with no issues to mention.  The matrix numbers are YEX 178-3 and YEX 179-3.
