Description

"Rubber Soul"......
Here we have an elusive "Loud Cut" with BOTH sides playing the loud cut...Some later pressings had a loud cut on one side.....
The record looks rough but plays a very strong VG+ (if not better)...The sleeve has a few defects...Full details below..
Issued on Parlophone in 1965..PMC 1267...UK pressing in mono..It comes in a front laminated Garrod And Lofthouse sleeve..The mothers and stampers are 3RO and 3RP....Complete with Emitex inner sleeve which is unsplit but a bit tired..(If I can find a better one I will send it instead)..
There are visible scuffs and hairlines to each side..It looks rough and I was in 2 minds about playing it,but those 60's Parlophone pressings could stand up to a lot of mis-treatment before the sound qualtiy suffered...This plays BETTER than I had hoped..There is a little crackle here and there (nothing serious),but there are no clicks or pops, certainly no skipping or jumping...It's not dished or warped and it has a full, clean sound.....Played on a JVC deck with a Shure tracking at 2G.....
The labels are undamaged but there is heavy spindle wear and the edges of the centre hole are worn white...It's had a lot of play..
The sleeve has a few defects....Some wear to the opening edges..The opening corners are worn and rounded...A few laminate creases around the edges...Some age fading/discolouring on the back which also has an "A" in biro near the top edge.. The spine has a couple of bumps through to the card underneath...
Tough to find and in reasonable condition!!.
Any questions,just ask!
