BEATLES ‘RUBBER SOUL’ UK MONO ISSUE. Parlophone Label Catalogue number PMC 1267 Released 3rd DECEMBER 1965 RARE XEX 579-5 and XEX 580-5 matrices PRESSING with’K T’ tax code embossed STAMPED TO CENTRE OF LABEL ON SIDE 2. Mother stampers in dead run out areas are ‘1’ and ‘O’ on Side 1 and ‘1’ and ‘M’ Side 2. EXCELLENT condition Vinyl with a nice sheen. Sleeve is laminated to the front with flip backs to the rear with faint ring wear to the upper, really clean spine and top edge but with a 6cm split to bottom edge so would otherwise have been graded ‘Excellent’ but downgraded to ‘Very Good Plus’. There are handwritten initials to top of rear of sleeve and some light discolouration to rear of sleeve’s opening edge. Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd printed sleeve ‘Patents Pending’. Both yellow and silver text on clean black labels. ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd...’ on outer rim with ‘Made in Gt.Britain’ and ‘Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions’ under the Parlophone text. Has very good condition original ‘Use Emitex...’ die cut tissue lined inner sleeve.
