THE RECORD - EXCELLENT 

A nice piece of glossy vinyl, super thick pressed. A lovely visual quality although it does have a few faint hairlines and very light scratches only. Not particularly noticeable. A wonderful example

Yes – brilliant! - EXCELLENT + sound quality throughout

This great record plays up to the high visual grading and beyond. Strong, undistorted sound free of any loud pops or clicks. Channels are clean and unstressed. The record plays with staggering power, with near silence between the tracks. Very Clear Sound!

Great audio with minimal interference to distract form the overly enjoyment of this great record and hardly any surface or static noise between the tracks

The music jumps out, with definition and clarity, particularly on the percussion instruments, and vocals which come through with tremendous power. As is the same with the bass guitar and drums, whilst the guitars come through crisp and clear.

A great all round example of this great  vinyl.

VINYL SOUND - Please Note: 

Top quality vinyl with clear sound is rare, and is what I always aim for. Even with the cleanest copies you will find occasional static sound during playback, caused by a build of dust in the grooves. This is clearly different from the distortion, loud pops or clicks that are found on heavily played and worn pieces of vinyl. Any static build up will reduce when played, and I advise a light clean should be given between plays for optimal performance. 

VINYL TESTED FOR ANY SIGNS OF WARPING: 

Yes, this thick slab of vinyl shows NONE visible what so ever when tested be sight and on a moving turntable.             

THE COVER – VERY GOOD PLUS 

Original Ernest J. Day cover. This is a lovely example of this very Rare Stereo Flip Back cover. Clean on the back with totally undamaged Flip backs and great laminate sheen on the front

There is some light scuffing to the corners, and a very small scuff on the spine, between the text, (as shown in the images) but its relatively slight. The opening edges are very square and un frayed.  The back cover is nice and clean, with NO ring wear, which is very unusual for these delicate covers. The white areas are very white, with  just some slight handling marks. 

The Spine is nice and square but there is some laminate cracking near the opening edge and a crease, as seen in the images.

A great solid example. All round, this is a really nice cover!!!     

Soul is the sixth studio album by The Beatles, released in December 1965. Produced by George Martin,Rubber Soul had been recorded in just over four weeks to make the Christmas market. Unlike the five albums that preceded it, Rubber Soul was the first Beatles album recorded during a specific period without being interrupted by tour dates (though the group's debut album Please Please Me was technically recorded in a single day, four of the tracks were recorded several months before). All of the Beatle albums after Rubber Soul (except Magical Mystery Tour) followed this process. The album was described as a major artistic achievement, attaining widespread critical and commercial success, with reviewers taking note of The Beatles' developing musical vision.   

The original UK release shows the "soul" influence of the album's title. Track list changes to the US release, including two acoustic songs held over from the previous album, Help!, gave the US version afolk rock feel that critics attributed to The Byrds and Bob Dylan. Rubber Soul is often cited as one of the greatest albums in pop music history. In 2006, the album was chosen by Time magazine as one of the 100 best albums of all time.

THE LABELS -  EXCELLENT  CONDITION 

These Rare One Box labels are in EXCELLENT Condition. They have with no sticker marks or writing. They do have a fair amount of spindle traces, but nothing too serious.

  MINT: Virtually unplayed. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover is pristine.

  EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

  V.G PLUS: The record will still be nice and shiny, but may have a few light marks, and will play well. Slight wear and tear on the cover.

  V.G: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.

  GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc.

  FAIR: Fair. It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated very noticeably. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.
