This is the rare, withdrawn 'loud cut' mix of Rubber Soul. It has a harder, rockier edge than the version which replaced it, and it has been unavailable ever since its withdrawal.
Matrix numbers, mothers and stampers:

Detailed description
Vinyl: The vinyl has retained its original high sheen and although it has clearly been played it hasn't been mistreated. There are various hairlines, marks and scuffs as well as a few small scratches but nothing significant. I have played the entire LP and it plays through perfectly with no jumps, skips or sticking. There is background noise and crackle audible in the quiet tracks ('Michelle', 'In my Life' etc) and the run-ins/outs, fades, silent grooves and intros and the occasional random click. There are a few places where you get a soft repetive click (five very soft, only audible in the right channel, during 'The Word'; a few near the start of 'What goes on' and then three later in the instrumental break; three in 'Girl'; a few in the fade and silent groove to 'I'm looking through you'; three in 'In my life' and four in the fade and silent groove to 'Wait') but none of these are loud or intrusive.
Labels: (See photos) Both labels look great with no damage, writing, stickers etc and just typical spindle marking.
Sleeve: (See photos) The sleeve has no damage, writing, splits, tears or stickers etc and just typical signs of use. There are laminate creases to the front, mainly around the edges, corners and opening and some laminate ring wear and shaping around the disk. The unlaminated rear has some slight tarnishing with a few marks here and there. The flipbacks are all complete and intact.
Edge wear: top/opening/spine/bottom: minimal/moderate/minimal/moderate. The spine is fully intact and legible. There is feathering to the opening, mainly noticeable at the front.
Corner wear: The corners show moderate wear, especially those at the opening which are just beginning to split (about 5mm).
Inner sleeve: Original Emitex Inner has splits in the two side seams
Other inserts: n/a
Detracting features not covered above - none.
Please check out my other items and take advantage of reduced postage costs for multiple buys.

Information about descriptions.
My records are always described accurately and fairly. I always do my best to point out any blemishes which might detract from the item and all photographs are of the actual item you will get.
Play-graded vinyl: I will always state in the listing if I have played a record prior to describing it. When I play a record I listen to it carefully through headphones with the bass and treble adjusted to expose unwanted noise. I play it all the way through (unless stated otherwise) and take notes of any noise, clicks, distortion etc which I then use to write my description. Please note that in some cases my notes may be made several weeks before the record is listed on ebay.
First pressings and originals: Many of the records I sell are first pressings and I will usually include the relevant matrix information etc in the description. However, I can't be an expert on every artist/group and so sometimes I will use the word 'original' to identify a pressing which I think is a first pressing, but don't know for sure (but which is certainly NOT a recent pressing or audiophile release etc). If you specifically want a first pressing, and know how to identify it, please ask the relevant questions before you bid.
