BEATLES ''REVOLVER'' ORIGINAL THE EARLIEST RAREST 1ST UK PRESS! YELLOW AND BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL (((MONO))) CAT NO. PMC 7009 UK PRESS MATRIX XEX 605-2 XEX 606-1 PLAYS THE WRONG MIX OF TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS. MIX 11. (MEGA MEGA RARETY)1966. ORIGINAL (RAREST TO FIND) E.DAY & CO FLIPBACK COVER) WITH THE RARE MISS PRINT ''DR.ROBERT'' ON THE COVER AND THE VINYL!!(LATER CORRECTED ''DOCTOR ROBERT'' THIS IS ARGUABLY ONE OF THE RAREST BEATLES PRESSINGSTO FIND !!! NEAR MINT AUDIO on my systems!! (NO) NEEDLE AUDIO SOUNDING SCRATCHES DURING THE AUDIO, UNBELIEVABLE!
Please listen to the actual recording of this are track 'MIX 11 of ''Tomorrow Never Knows'' (recorded digitaly in mono,44100hz) Click below
Another from my personal collection. Listed for its unbeleivable rarety, a genuine 1st issue 1st UK pressing. This is the only original format in the world featureing the matrix 'XEX 606-1' on side 1, that you can hear the rare withdrawn mix 11 of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' There is no other pressing that features this, which is what makes this so desirable! Beleived to have ceased pressing these after only one day due to the fact that George Martin was not happy with the mix.(These were then pressed with the matrix endings 606-2 with the commonly known mix of this track) Either way there was only a very limited amount released and any that survived are either played to death or are in the hands of collectors! This album has just light general storageware with age but the real attraction to this album that I am listing is the audio quality, unbeleivable to find a genuine 1st issue with a vinyl that plays through clear and vibrant without clicks or pops and without distortion! I can not over emphisise how rare these are to find! This album is complete with the original 1st issue and rarest E.Day & Co flip back cover (much rarer than the more common Garrod & Lofthouse cover).
For those who know the type of records that I list on this site would know that I am highly critical about the audio quality, it is my prime interest as a collector myself of Beatles UK pressings for more than 40 years! This pressing is so rare to find like this and of course unique for this rare track variation ''Track Mix 11 of 'Tomorrow Never Knows'' This album has been in my posession for over 25 years and has been stored in a case with the vinyl seperated from the cover and sleeve the way that I have always stored my records!
LOOK AT THESE MEGA MEGA EARLIEST ''1'' TO ''1'' MOTHER STAMPERS ''1'' ''M'' and ''1'' ''L'' IMPOSSIBLY RARE!!!
ONE OF THE RAREST BEATLES ALBUMS THAT I HAVE LISTED ON EBAY!
THIS HAS THE WRONG MIX OF ''TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS'' MIX11 Which was quickly corrected and withdrawn by George Martin after only one day of pressing which makes this unbeleivably rare indeed! There arn't many of these around and are extreemely sought after and highly collectable! THE MATRIX XEX 605-2 XEX 606-1(1ST PRESS) MOTHER STAMPERS 3&9 OCLOCK (EXTREEMELY EARLY) SIDE 1. ''1'' ;''M'' SIDE 2. ''1'' ''L''! (IMPOSSIBLE ''1'' TO ''1'' MOTHER STAMPERS EARLIEST EVER TO FIND!!) The Vinyl The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping! This is the original earliest thick and chunky slab of vinyl (only found like this on the earliest pressings) These have deeper grooves than later press and are more robust than later flimsier pressings! Unbeleivably the playing surface is free of any audio sounding marks\ scratches that I can see. Any marks\scuffs\scratches that could possibly be seen would be mainly sleeve removal only, importantly there are no audio sounding marks at least nothing thast would cause any clicks or pops during the audio!! The Audio Quality I have played this vinyl five times prior to listing at very loud volume on a top system, importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge! From the moment that I put the needle on the playing surface it was obvious to me and my opinion that this vinyl has only had very minimal play only and certainly not been overplayed in my opinion! The audio was awesome, cristal clear and very vibrant throughout. During the audio I heard no static interfearence on my system, any static in between tracks only was noticed but importantly not during the audio even the quiet tracks this was awesome! The important thing to note is the deep bassey feel and vibrancy that you will only hear like this on these 1st issues (very important) I have many copies and have heard many copies of this album to compare in my 40 years of collecting Beatles records. I feel it important to note that the rare track of Tomorrow Never Knows also plays through perfectly without distortion or any interfearence at all! I would grade the audio quality at least excellent plus to very near perfect on my systems with minor static only in between some tracks! Very Very (Very) Collectable for the rare deleted mix 11 of ''Tomorrow Never Knows'' Only heard on this pressing with 606-1 Matrix endings!
Please note, I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for some static (very light noticed in between some tracks) not consistant throught the play of this vinyl. Please remember that this is a genuine 45 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 45 year old system! The Labels These are the original Yellow And Black Parlophone labels. Side 1 features the K.T. Tax stamper. ''SOLD IN THE UK .......'' Is featured across the labels (ONLY EARLY PRESS) THE SONG TITLE ''DOCTOR ROBERT'' Is misspelt ''DR. ROBERT'' (ONLY EARLY PRESS) Later corrected ''RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1966 IS (NOT) FEATURED (VERY RARE) AND THE GRAMOPHONE CO.......Around the label rim . Also''SOLD IN THE UK ''.....................Is featured across the labels (ONLY ON EARLY PRESS)! Visualy when looking at the labels angled to the light I can see some light foxing on both sides and a slight graze on side 1. only. Amaizingly there is barely a handful of spider marks, indicating to me that this vinyl has had only very minimal play only, There is little if no spindle ware, the hole is perfectly round!! In my opinion this vinyl has barely been played , at least only minimal play only!
The Cover The original Laminated front only E.J.Day & Co printed flipback cover (RAREST AND MOST SOUGHT AFTER TO FIND THAN THE MORE COMMON G&L COVERS)! (SEE PHOTO)Is in superbe condition for 45 years old without any splits or tares. There is minimal creases with age at the front! The laminate is super glossy in appearence! Normally seen yellowed with age thisa has reained its whiteness! Featured larger flipbacks at the rear than the G& L covers! No Nasty names written, just very light general storageware with age only. The rear of the cover features ''DR. ROBERT'' (later corrected to ''DOCTOR ROBERT''(ONLY EARLY PRESS) Overall this cover is strong and straight as it should be. The text '' REVOLVER-THE BEATLES'' can be clearly seen at the spine(SEE PHOTO) This carries the (SMALL) ''MONO'' LOGO Correct for this pressing!!!! 1ST PRESS RAREST E.DAY COVER. !!This must grade at least excellent in my opinion!
