Description

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called "Please Please Me" and is an ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO Pressing on the Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!!  This LP is EXACTLY as 99% of ALL MONO pressings were sold like to Beatles Fans back in 1963 and is commonly known as the '4th MONO Pressing'!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE (LIKE THIS!)!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE PARLOPHONE LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  AND THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT HAS AN ULTRA RARE 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'LARGE MONO' COVER (95% HAD THE VERY COMMON 'E.J.DAY' VERSION INSTEAD!)!!!!  AND THIS IS COMPLETELY UNLIKE ANY OTHER BEATLES LP - FOR THIS IS THE ONLY BEATLES LP EVER MADE - WHERE 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' COVERS ARE FAR FAR RARER THAN 'E.J.DAY' (IN FACT, THEY ARE AT LEAST 20 TIMES RARER - WITH A 'LARGE MONO' ON THE COVER FRONT!)!!!!

THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT WAS ACTUALLY BOUGHT FROM 'NEMS' BRIAN EPSTEIN'S OWN RECORD SHOP IN LIVERPOOL IN 1963!!!!  BRIAN EPSTEIN WAS OF COURSE THE BEATLES MANAGER - AND THE BEATLES VISITED THE SHOP MANY TIMES THEMSELVES (ORIGINALLY AS CUSTOMERS BEFORE THEY EVEN KNEW BRIAN EPSTEIN!)!!!!  THIS LP COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL 'NEMS' OUTER BAG - SHOWING CLEARLY THAT IT WAS BOUGHT FROM 'NORTH END MUSIC STORE' (THE NAME OF BRIAN EPSTEINS SHOP!) WAY BACK IN 1963!!!!  THIS OF COURSE HAS TO ADD A MAJOR PREMIUM TO THIS AMAZING LP - AS BARELY ANY CAN EXIST LIKE THIS TODAY!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO 4TH PRESSING ON THE YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, 'FIRST PUBLISHED' LABEL TEXT, NO 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, 'PARLOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT, 1ST PRESS 1N/1N MONO MATRIXES, ORIGINAL 'EMITEX' INNER SLEEVE, ULTRA RARE 'NEMS' OUTER BAG, AND ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' MONO COVER (WITH 'LARGE' MONO ON THE COVER FRONT!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Parlophone UK 4th Pressing from 1963 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is PMC 1202 on the ORIGINAL Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a UK MONO Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 'Emitex' inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ULTRA RARE 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), possible VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the EXTREME bottom right corner ONLY, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing (apart from a slight touch to the flipbacks!), NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  A BRILLIANT EXAMPLE OF A VERY VERY RARE LP INDEED!!!!

AND THE ULTRA RARE 'NEMS' OUTER BAG (FROM THE BEATLES MANAGERS SHOP!) IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ALSO SHOW THAT IT IS 100% GENIUNE!!!!  Firstly and MOST importantly it DOES show its age a little as it should do after 50 years!!!!  And this is very VERY important indeed!!!!  LOADS of 'dodgy repros' exist of this ULTRA rare 'NEMS' outer bag to cash in on the connection to the Beatles.  However 'repros' look almost new and are printed on the wrong plastic.  ORIGINALS (as this one DEFINITELY is!) were printed on ULTRA thin polythene (with NO stiffness!), and like this one does, should show some clear ageing to them.  For even if the LP inside these bags remained in Mint Condition and never played - the outer bag will ALWAYS naturally 'age' as this has!!!!  And 'ageing' can never be 'reproduced'!!!!  The one has some general creasing, slight yellowing, and 2 or 3 VERY small holes in the polythene. Thankfully there are NO 'edge splits' though, and it holds the record & cover PERFECTLY!!!!  Normally any 'ageing' would be treated as a bad thing - but on this NEMS bag it is a very VERY good thing indeed, as it clearly shows it is 100% GENIUNE and ORIGINAL and cannot be faked!!!!  A GREAT LOOKING AND 100% GENIUNE 'NEMS' OUTER BAG - FROM THE BEATLES MANAGER'S SHOP FROM LIVERPOOL IN 1963!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

TAKE A LOOK AT PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE Beatles LP!!!!  THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO 4TH PRESSING OF "PLEASE PLEASE ME" BY THE BEATLES, IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  Dont forget to take a look at all my other items including many other TOP LPs and contact me with any queries you may have.  Postal discounts are always available - and I guarantee to ALWAYS undercharge on postage!  Paypal, Bank Transfers, Cheques, International Money Orders, and Postal Orders accepted. Thanks for looking! Cheers!!!!!

--ooOOoo--

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items (I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!) - PLEASE REMEMBER to contact with me FIRST, if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy!  Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again - Graham @ XXXRecords.   PLEASE NOTE - Private feedback bidders must consult me first prior to bidding - due to previous problems regarding non-payment, and non-receipt.   MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS (I always undercharge on postage!):-  Due to UK Royal Mail's obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little.  Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002.  However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever.  However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100% guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out.  Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself.  On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package (please check it when you recieve it!).  I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs!  And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference.  THAT IS MY 100% POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER!  No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I'll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged.  Any questions - please ask!
